  1. Re: Hero System women are all insanely attractive Offcourse having average faced persons in the story helps making the pretty people look good.
  2. Re: Hero System women are all insanely attractive It is reversed now, many artists are using the same techniques to draw their pretty characters and as a result everybody is starting to look the same and that is boring. You might not think it but pretty can be pretty boring. I don't want comics to be filled up by ugly people I want more individuality among the faces. In the old comics people looked much more different. Let me give you example: Astro city is a comic book where many of the characters have different faces but still remain on the un-ugly side.
  3. Re: Hero System women are all insanely attractive What I have read of his comics is Alpha flight, Superman. Fantastic Four and guest appearance’s of both the X-men and the Avengers. He is one of the artists where you can see the difference between the heroes in their secret identity without looking at the hair style. It might be very formulaic techniques he is using to get this result but you probably see this because you are an artist yourself.
  4. Re: Hero System women are all insanely attractive Of the women I have roleplayed with two have enjoyed playing unattractive characters. Two mostly played good looking characters but had at least one character that was unattractive. And three roleplayed very attractive characters.
  5. Re: Hero System women are all insanely attractive I agree. And it is particularly evident in the more modern comics I think. Does anybody remember the old fusion champion’s book? All the women there looked alike in the face except for the hair. The only comic book artist that regularly draws women with varied faces are John Byrne.
  6. Re: Mega Man X/Zero And long posts are what we like here at the Hero boards.
  7. Re: Mega Man X/Zero He does not have to be any thougher than you need to be to blow up small robots and stuff. Megaman's upgrades are offcourse bought with XP.
  8. Re: Zombie Hero: Pt 1 The Oakdale Galleria I think that the did think that to begin with but when they saw how fast Johnn when down they changed their minds.
  9. Re: Zombie Hero: Pt 1 The Oakdale Galleria Jeb... Must... Die.. Sounds like the game is just getting better. Although I'm a little surprised the heroes gave up so easy when they sounded so confident to begin with. You could hear that someone had been reading the damage lists in the hero book. (hmm that gun is probably a .38 or 9mm so he can't possible kill us on one shot...) Off course the fat guy with the shotgun makes the difference. (They always do.) But that is what makes reading stories based on rpg games better than just if one author wrote it alone, you just never know what the characters will do.
  10. Re: Zombie Hero: Pt 1 The Oakdale Galleria Talk about wasting their chance! They should have gunned down Jeb as fast as he started to shoot at them. Question did Johnn have his gun in his hand or in his holster when Jeb shot him?

Re: Please Review Nope there are options that make it so that you can make it more or less difficult to conceal. Btw: Driving the other players crazy does not give you any limitation. Unless you give yourself the “prone to drive team-members crazy†limitation.

Re: Please Review A limitation is not a limitation if it does not hinder the player. He could just as well take "snaps his fingers often" or "prefer black socks over white"

  14. Re: Zombie Hero: Pt 1 The Oakdale Galleria Those guards are bad news. I just know it.
  15. Re: Musings on Random Musings Careful now, you don't want us to begin discussing if Genghis Khan belongs at the left or at the right...
  16. Re: Musings on Random Musings Look! It is a little Banana! And it's dancing! Look!
  17. Re: Musings on Random Musings Just call me Mr. Mean!
  18. Re: Musings on Random Musings Look at him go! It's so funny!
  19. Re: Musings on Random Musings He dosent? I don't think Doppler care much one way or another. And I don't think that he made fun of the recepy thread because of loyalty to the republican party and President Bush. Btw: Is Worldmaker anti-republican? I never noticed... Hey, it's you that is constantly demanding emotional support, not me. Stop being such a wuss. Is it Worldmaker and Seenar that is on the opposite axis now? I don't know if I agree on that so here is a picture of a dancing banana so that you might lighten up a little.
  20. Re: Looking for a source of Victorian Miniatures http://www.wargamesfoundry.com/collections/index.asp Scroll down a little.
  21. Re: Musings on Random Musings Those who have different standard for what different posters can post of replies are often biased and therefore their opinion does not matter as much. Furthermore for many on the boards discussion has taken second place for back-patting. Everybody say things with a clear purpose in mind. That is rhetorical trickery, you should not fall for it. Brushing off is a defensive mechanism of the ignorant. You should see it as a (minor) victory; perhaps they will remember what you said another time when it is not as important to them to be right. Well I personally have no problem with agreeing with someone in one thread and disagreeing with them in another, you should get used to the idea that the person who has agreed with you on all your points and beliefs might be incredibly oposed to something that you took it for granted that they agreed with you. They probably think the same thing. This is another trick of discussion when someone can not put in words what they disagree with you on they can try to blow you off. It's a cheap trick but sometimes it works. I got to be honest with you the fact that Doppler took the time to make fun of your thread among all here on the boards set of the rfk alarm in my mind, but then again I am the most paranoid man on the boards.
  22. Re: more gun bunny goodness. What is up with the plastic look! The p2000 looks like my old phone exept it has a gunbarrel stuck to it.
