Would you say that the Galaxy Rangers (from the '80s cartoon series Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers) would qualify for the list of space cop outfits already mentioned on this thread?

True enough, but I think that Digna's catching up there in that category -- otherwise, there probably would've been a
Porn Singularity* when she and Jrska got together a few posts back ( ).

(*Porn Singularity: a powerful phenomenon created when two or more Smut Fields come into close proximity to
one another, creating a near-irresistable attractive force. Unless they're very lucky, those who are close enough to
witness the creation of the Singularity either as it's taking shape or shortly afterwards are doomed to be sucked in
to become part of its bacchanalian depravity for the duration of its existence. Note that this is a certain guarantee in
universes where Evil Chaos Entities have a ridiculous amount of influence on certain inhabitants -- Warhammer 40K
GMs being especially susceptible to their influence.)

Here's an Atlantean character with a bit of a twist -- Lady Mokarra, Atlantis' official ambassador to the surface world...
who also has the misfortune to have a lycanthropic alter-ego:

In her normal form, Mokarra looks like your average (drop-dead gorgeous) Atlantean female; it's when "the Beast" is upon
her that she looks like the shark-woman to the left of the pic -- taller, heavier, and much stronger (not to mention extremely
fast and vicious in the water...).

I just got through with Uncompromising Honor not too long ago, and from what I had read in both the story itself and Weber's own
statements at the end of the book, that while Honor's story might be at an end for the time being, it's far from over. After all, the
Mesans still owe a rather outstanding debt for both Yawata Crossing and Beowulf Alpha, Beta, and Gamma -- not to mention the
stations of Hephaestus, Weyland, and Vulcan -- and somehow, I can't see Honor not being the one to personally settle that debt.

Just got through with a couple of new pics tonight -- an updated one of The Arc's mystic academy characters*, and a somewhat
nicer one from Enforcer84 (from about ten years ago, for which I didn't have a pic due to the lack of the appropriate tools at the
    time.

First up is my take on a renegade teacher of the Dark Arts -- especially if he'd chosen to embrace the Darkness in its entirety:

    Shadowmaster (a.k.a. Zacharius Darkmoor)

(*At least, I think the original was one of The Arc's; it's possible this was one of my contributions to his thread)

And here's a new version of one of Enforcer84's characters:

    Bloodsport

If the scimitar he wields wasn't bad enough to have to face, Bloodsport also has a pair of kukri knives for very close-quarters
combat; the armored gauntlet worn on his left arm is not only strong enough to withstand and parry blows from an enemy's
own weapons, he can also use it as a hand-to-hand weapon as well. For those who might think that they're safely out of his
blades' reach, Bloodsport has an unpleasant surprise for them: two razor-sharp, saw-toothed chakram throwing discs. When
used in the way that some sources suggest -- twirling it on the inside rim to build up speed before hurling it with considerable
force against an opponent -- these weapons have the potential to cripple, if not outright kill, any foe facing Bloodsport.

When you add his unarmed combat skills to the mix, you've got someone who redefines the phrase "Extreme Fighter" -- as
well as someone you can count on to take a fight seriously (unlike the Inigo Montoya-type, spear-dancing moron in Game
    of Thrones).

The first pic of the new year from yours truly:

    Firebreak

The newest member of the Tech Squad, Firebreak was recruited from the fire department of a major city of the Midwestern
U.S.  This was as a result of the Tech Squad's encounter with a high-tech arsonist calling herself Madame Inferno, who the
team was ill-equipped to deal with, especially given her penchant for deliberately setting fires in places where there were
certain to be fairly large numbers of innocent bystanders.

As a member of the Tech Squad, Firebreak has access to technological gear that is in advance of anything else currently in
existence anywhere on Earth -- especially given the specific focus that it has: to enable him to not only survive in extreme
high-temperature environments such as the interiors of burning buildings, but also to put out fires (if possible) and carry
out the rescue of those trapped by said fires. To this end, the suit worn by Firebreak incorporates a backpack-mounted
extinguisher unit, which is capable of spraying wide-angle jets of fire-suppressant foam. In addition, there are canisters of
various types of concentrated fire-suppressant chemicals housed within the unit, which allows Firebreak to tailor the foam
to better fight whatever type of fire he happens to be dealing with at the time (whether it be chemical, electrical or other
type of accelerant-based fire). A secondary system within the unit consists of two tanks of Halon which are under high
pressure; when activated, these tanks are capable of filling a large area (approximately 50' x 50' x 10') with Halon gas in
order to deprive a fire of the oxygen it needs in order to burn. The combination of the foam and Halon gas allows Firebreak
to fight a fire far more effectively on his own; when working alongside a local fire department, his presence means that a
fire can be put out more rapidly than usual, and with a minimum of casualties (whether said casualties are fatalities or
    simple injuries).

Firebreak also has one additional piece of equipment which he uses when fighting a fire: a fireman's axe, which was forged
from a single piece of an as-yet unidentified (and highly-classified) super-alloy. With this axe, Firebreak can cut or smash
his way through doors and walls that would give other firefighters (with their mundane versions of the fireman's axe) a hard
    time.

And now for a little bit of eviillllll -- the 31st Century's incarnation of Mister Wicked, known in that future era
as Lord Wicked (along with a pic of his alter-ego, Reginald Wickshire-Edwardson?

The "cane" shown in Lord Wicked's pic is actually a short-ranged disruptor weapon that, when activated, fires a series
of pulses at his intended victim, which not only renders said victim helpless but also neutralizes any communicatior
or tracking implants he or she may have as well (visually, the effect is similar in appearance to the EMP-wave attack
used to incapacitate Striker Eureka in Pacific Rim, but in a narrow arc). The pulses are emitted from the emerald-like
gem at the top of the "cane".

In addition to disguising his identity, Lord Wicked's costume incorporates a voice-distortion module, which not only
alters the sound of his voice, it also prevents audio sensors from getting an accurate reading of his voice, which
    would expose his identity to law-enforcement officials. It also incorporates a few sensory-protection devices;
namely, ear protectors which block the effect of sonic attacks while allowing him to hear normally, and a polarized
optic visor that guards against high-intensity light-based attacks. His mask has a built-in filter, which prevents
him from being affected by chemical/gas-based attacks; a set of miniature oxygen tanks (containing a 1-hour
supply of breathable air) is connected to it and can be activated in the event that Lord Wicked is unable to immedi-
    ately leave the affected area.

In his identity of Reginald Wickshire-Edwardson, he has created the image of a wealthy eccentric, who has established
what, a thousand years past, would have been called a historical reenactors society. In this role, he has -- from time
to time -- organized fund-raising events to aid one needy charity or another; said events usually take the form of 'period
parties', where the attendees show up in costumes appropriate to the time period represented by the theme of the party.
These parties have covered the time period starting from the Victorian Age, and ending in the mid- to latter part of the
    21st Century.

some problems with my laptop; more on this later):

What if Sparkler (IIRC, a teenage supervillainess from Classic Enemies) managed to find some mad scientist-type who told
her that he could increase the strength of her powers -- and what if, not only were her powers increased as promised, her
"wowza" factor got kicked up a few notches as well (as in she not only aged a few years in a matter of seconds, but also
wound up with a body that most women would kill for)?

This was what I came up with:

Sparkler (2.0 -- and then some)
