  1. Re: The November Nine Some nice artwork Dr. D. Grats to all the heroes that got chosen. I better come up with something killer next year!
  2. Re: Do PFF and Invulnerability Stack? Also, bear in mind that if you're primarily a Force user, your superstats and general stat stacking (in your case End and Ego) don't compliment Invuln, which scales off Str and Con. And as SvZurich has rightly stated, both abilities are a slotted passive, and you can only have one of those slotted at any one time. Hope that helps. Edit: Just realised I'm pretty much parroting what SvZurich has already said anyway!
  3. Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game I gave CoH a fair go a number of months back, got my hero, Blast Bolt to level 44 or so. But then boredom hit, and I really struggled to log in and level to the cap. I absolutely love the community in CoH, and the RPer's are great (had my first real taste of online RP there, taking part in someone origin story RP event), but the levelling and content got stale fast for me. Just my personal opinion of course. I'm currently juggling between Champions Online and Lord of the Rings, and enjoying both immensely!
  4. Re: The November Nine Wow, these keep getting better and better
  5. Re: The November Nine Wow, really nice so far. Looking forward to seeing the other selections
  6. Re: Takofanes, where is he? Takofanes can be faced, he just spawns randomly once any one for the 13 undead heroes are defeated. And Pamela, if you manage to complete all 13 missions, and the Essences mission, you can unlock the Celestial set on your account. While it gets unlocked on the 10th of November for everyone, you get it a little bit early
  7. Re: Microtransaction Store Personally, I think its a great addition, but I suppose CoH brainwashed me into loving MT's At least now Mechawing can have Mecha Wings
  8. Re: Respecing Might based on Test Server notes Invul plus Might at later levels is a really nice build. Quite a few henchman attacks just don't get through Invul's protection. I love it!
  9. Re: Free character pics I'd like to humbly submit my Champion for consideration. Love the look of your artwork, and would love to see him immortalised by it. Anyway, here he is: Paladin Sir Kurtt of Wulfrunia was born in the year 1344. He served as a Knight of the Realm in England. He bravely defended the crown, and was duly recognised by having an ornate suit of armour commissioned by King Edward III himself. Unbeknownst to Sir Kurtt, the helm he wore, dubbed the Helm of Justice, was actually crafted from a rare alien mineral known as Kelvarite. This mineral fell to earth, and was treated as a gift from the gods by the Blacksmith who found it. He saw fit to incorporate it into the helm Sir Kurtt wore. Over time, the Kelvarite started to have a strange effect on Kurtt. It gave him incredible strength and invulnerability. It also became apparent, as the years wore on, that it granted near immortality. Today, Sir Kurtt still lives. After hiding his true nature throughout the centuries, but helping the innocent where possible, he is finally able to work openly. He is now known as Paladin, hero of Millennium City. As the centuries have passed, and the Kelvarite's effect has grown stronger, Paladin's abilities have grown. He can now project energy in various forms, and has mastered the power of Flight. The one thing that made Sir Kurtt a great Knight was his sense of justice. This he now embodies, as Paladin, a Champion, a defender of justice. (Just a few notes of explanation. Kurtt has been my name in various games, both PnP and online. Wulfrunia is the medieval name of the town I was born in, Wolverhampton. I'm not one hundred percent sure of the effects of Kelvarite in the Champions universe, but decided to take a bit of artistic license with it ) On to some pics of him in-game: Let me know what you think Cheers, WW
  10. Re: Respecing Might based on Test Server notes Just thought I'd chime in here, as Might is one of my favourite frameworks. Still a bit new here, so forgive the intrusion Please don't underestimate Haymaker. My Might user is currently level 35, and with rank 3 Haymaker, I can two-tap henchman mobs at same/+1 level. When tapped, its an awesome damage ability. Plus, if you get chance to charge it, your looking at around 2K+ damage. Thanks for sharing your builds though, you've given me quite a bit of food for thought to mull over. Incidentally, how do you play your Might characters? Do you take as many of the disorient/hold effects on your powers, or go for straight rank increases? I tend to go with the latter, but would love to know how the former works out. Cheers, WW
