  5. Re: Champions Clix - Your HC Recipes I hope that mine were in that postal delivery, too. Just kidding, Seth.
  6. Re: Hero Points? That's good to hear, John. I was wondering if anyone had used that, and how it worked for them. Our group is planning on using the system for our game.
  7. Re: Liefeld's Titans I'm pretty sure that if I took my time, I could draw 10 times better; but that's beside the point. I'm not an actor, but I can tell when I'm seeing a lousy performance. Same with Liefeld's art. I'm not a professional artist, but I know it when I'm seeing lousy artwork. Yeah, but there are lot's of people getting paid for things they're lousy at. Look at "The Simple Life". Two people starring on a TV show when they have absolutely no talent, whatsoever.
  8. Re: Hero Points? Here are a few links where Neil's Luck system is discussed. http://www.herogames.com/forums/showpost.php?p=229195&postcount=64 http://www.herogames.com/forums/showpost.php?p=299381&postcount=1 http://www.herogames.com/forums/showpost.php?p=299436&postcount=2
  9. Re: Personality quiz for characters This was posted by Ghost Archer in Trencher's "Tell Me About Your Character" thread. I removed Archer's responses. It's a pretty extensive questionaire.
  10. Re: Superhero Images Naw, they all just have this power:http://www.herogames.com/forums/showpost.php?p=864392&postcount=1

  15. Re: NGD Scenes from a Hat You find their "secret playroom" behind their closet.
  16. Re: NGD Scenes from a Hat You no longer have any feelling in your @$$, or anywhere else below your waist.
  17. Re: Answers & Questions Q. Why don't you just call an exterminator? A. A plunger, two pounds of jello, and a tire iron.
  18. Re: What's in a Name? Caitlin O’Brien was a science student doing research in Ireland. She was out on the moors late one evening, taking photographs and other measurements of the lights caused by the swamp gases in the area. A storm had been gathering for the last hour, and the rumblings of thunder could be heard overhead. The sky suddenly lit up as the first flash of lightning cut across the night sky. Caitlin decided it was definitely time to gather things up, and call it a night. As she dismantled her equipment, a bolt of lightning struck the ground mere feet from her. Some of the energy ignited the swamp gas near her. Caitlin was caught in a flash of energy and was knocked into unconsciousness. While she was unconscious, Caitlin dreamed. Dreams of lights and faeries and magic. She had no idea what they meant, but she was sure that they had a meaning. She was sure that her life had been changed forever. By the time Caitlin regained consciousness the storm had passed. She was still surrounded by the glowing lights, but now they were coming from her, not the swamp. After a few more minutes, she found out that she could also become intangible, fly, and make images out of light. She decided to use these abilities to fight crime. The newspapers originally gave her the name Ignis Fatuus, until they realized that she was a girl. Now she is known as Will O’ The Wisp. Next name: VICEROY
  19. Re: Superhero Images Well, since everyone else is posting pics I thought I'd put up one I just finished working on. I didn't draw this, but it's a cut, paste, recolor job. It's based on a pic of Opaque of The Circle, from the Algernon Files. The character is Luna, an energy projector with "lunar"-based powers and abilities. She's from the group Justice Force, for our convention game we're working on.
  20. Re: GateCrasher Hero Cool stuff, 'Cat. Nice to see you around again.
  21. Re: Superhero Images Awesome pics, 'Cat. Good to hear from ya. It's been a while.
  22. Re: How do construct the ability to activate others' powers? Actually, the next to the last paragraph (bottom left, pg 4) says that at GM's discretion, Activate can be used to activate or "turn on" the innate power or ability of a character.
  23. Re: Storn's Art & Characters thread.
  24. Re: Whatever happened to...? Patrick Zircher has been drawing comics for both DC and Marvel. Mark Williams passed away on May 28, 1998. There is a bio here. Aaron Allston's been mentioned. I'm not sure about the others.
