1. Re: Coming to Xbox 360? My sources say it is all on Micro$ofts' end. They jerked Cryptic around, essentially, either holding out for a bigger piece of the cash pie, or who knows why.
2. Re: Reminder: Cryptic Chat On Monday, March 22! I'll be here, Steve!
3. Re: Who's still playing and when? If you two can't get enough folks on to get a full five, I have several characters in the range to go with you, and two of them would be great RP as well, Recurve [Thundraxs' Niece] or Rune.
4. Re: When Powers vanish Exactly.. hit P, drag and drop the missing power back onto your power bar.
5. Re: Screenshots Something new from Rune. Its Thundrax, with his niece Recurve, and her new teammate, Renji Rush of the Silver Age Sentinels. Recurve puts Green Dragon back in his cell... with ease. No powers, all guts.
6. Re: Who's still playing and when? Still play at least five days a week, and lead my own little casual but roleplay friendly super group. Still see GestaltBenni on Thundrax pretty regularly. Here's a shot of Thundrax on the left, Rune in the middle, and his Silver Age Sentinels helping Thundrax in his native Canada.
7. Re: The November Nine Rune is fine.. I only added the "1" because someone took my handle here.
8. Re: A proposal As I replied on the CO boards, I think this is a great idea, and I'm thinking either Knighthawk, my less than agile and quick-witted Speedster who grew up in Westside; or Recurve, my Archer/Gadgeteer and extreme sports enthusiast & ex-nerd would both be pretty good candidates. I'll work up more detailed write ups and screenshots for you later on.
9. Re: Well Rounded Heroes You will also find great success with Darkness/ TK/ Telepathy, particularly with End/Rec super stats; Regen for a defense passive in the low and mid levels, [and any time you need to be tough], Shadow form at mid and high levels once you have acquired Ego Storm and/or Shadow Embrace [with it's Pull to/knock advantage] for offense role faster leveling in safe situations or when you have a teammate to take agro/help you control foes. My main is Telekinesis mainly, with TK energy builder and beginning powers, then branched out to the other sets as he leveled up. Get Regen at level 8 and play defense or balanced rolew with it for a good while, and you'll be a solid single target damage dealer once you get to Ego Blade Breach. Then in the mid twenties get Ego Storm and Shadow form right after it, and experiment with using it in Offense role when you are in safe areas. If you are comfortable with Offense role earlier in your career, get Shadow embrace and shadow form, but without the knock/pull advantage on it, it will help you mitigate damage, essential for surviving to deal all that damage in Offense role. Hope that helps! ~Rune
10. Re: Free character pics Hello again, Dr. Destiny! I remember this from last year on the CO boards. I'd like to humbly submit my own main character, Rune. [in-game short bio] Tenured professor and archaeologist Dustin Glyffburg discovered ancient glyphs and sigils predating all known human civilization, and deciphering these runes gave him access to lost power, some would say forbidden power, the language of creation itself. Remaking himself into a vision of youth and vigor, Glyffburg protects human civilization from any threats, extra-planetary or extra-dimensional alike, as the enigmatic Rune! Character page Rate my Champion More character art of him can be seen among the member pics gallery of this Super group website, as my character is the leader of his own team. http://HTTP://SilverAge.GuildPortal.Com Background Publicly mysterious, he seems to be a cosmically powered hero who takes on the truly "big" threats most of the time, sometimes all alone. When no truly big threats are around, he busies himself with seeking out possibly dangers from large to small, and helps out with more traditional crime fighting issues, like bank robberies. Attitude Outwardly precise and serious, particularly with the general public, he takes his 'work' very seriously. In private he has a bit of a silly streak, an occasionally wry sense of humor, and is a bit of a ladies man. He exhibits an exceptional amount of charisma and his perception is almost legendary. Is in some ways a crossover of Dr. Strange, Reed Richards, and James Bond. Rune leads the Silver Age Sentinels, and specifically looks to find others of like mind to his way of seeing things; that is that heroes should not kill, are not judges nor juries, and have no specific right beyond ordinary citizens unless granted individually to that hero by a legal organization. Indeed, that possession of such powers bestows on one the responsibility to use them in defense of others. [He is essentially like a "Cosmic" powered hero like a Marvel version Captain Marvel, but uses Magic and Knowledge as his origin source. His Secret Identity is a very spry and fit older gentleman Professor at at Millennium University]
