Here are a few more of The Arc's character pics, this time from his Grand Gulag group and redone
in FdH2011 format. Most of them had already-existing pics that I was able to use as references for
my versions, while others are basically my interpetations of characters that I only saw written refer-
    ences for.

Here's one of those from the second category:

    Doctor Grey Matter

From what I remember of the Doctor's description, he was basically a 'brain in a bubble' following an
experiment (I think it had to do with nanotechnology, but I'm not sure). So I decided to take an 'Arnim
Zola'-type approach with his design, in that I made the pic with his brain in an upper-mounted glass
dome (suspended in an oxygenated nutrient solution), with a robotic 'face' on the middle front of his
mechanical 'body'. The body itself is supported by an anti-gravity field (the glowing blue oval on the
bottom) reverse-engineered from alien technology, and is able to change direction and facing by
means of an internal array of gyroscopes mounted at 'face' level. Four robotic 'arms' are mounted
on the rear of his 'body', and are each tipped with a three-fingered 'hand'; this allows Doctor Grey
Matter to physically handle objects, albeit in a limited way. The Doctor is also able to use these
arms offensively; he does so by grabbing his target and conducting an electrical charge through
them. The charge is of sufficient intensity to stun a normal human being.

Doctor Grey Matter's mechanical 'body' is armored, and is capable of withstanding .50-caliber machine
gun fire; he is, however, working on a new design for his 'body', one that will have a built-in force field
    generator.

Whiz Kid: Hyper kinetic thief and prankster, Whiz Kid seems to dance back and fourth across the hero/villain line as quickly as he does everything else. And for the same reason: lulz. This poster boy for reckless irresponsible youth is up for almost anything to slake his thirst for thrills and amusement. He's not violent, however, and doesn't try to kill or greatly injure his opponents (or the authorities) instead using his speed, agility and wicked but childish sense of humor to escape, evade and harass them instead. His juvenile attitude is understandable as Whiz Kids is actually 11 yrs old. His hyped up metabolism has him the build and development of a boy several years older.  Whiz kid is a frequent friendly rival/partner of the young Speedster heroine Velocity. To be clear, she is NOT his girlfriend. She is his friend who is a girl.

Iron Maus: Armored political statement. Despite his comedic appearance, Iron Maus is quite serious in his war against corporate dominance and its stranglehold on many endeavors especially the creative fields. And his (Iron Maus is presumed male but no one has seen his true appearance). armor is no joke either and is easily a match for some of the most formidable high tech battlesuits available.

As seen by stuff I've posted here, I like translating public domain characters. I found a group of villains who had fought Captain Marvel Jr. in the Golden Age called the Black Ace Gang. They were nowhere near as interesting as The Royal Flush Gang, but card based characters can be interesting. After some back and forth with Joe Singleton, we came up with a modern version of the concept. The original group was non-powered, but 2 members of this version do have actual powers

From left to right is Queen of Hearts, King of Clubs, Jack of Diamonds and Black Ace, the Black Ace Gang:

Here's my lastest re-color.  I dug out my old copy of Paint Shop Pro 9.  Because of the scan, it had a ton of shadows, and needed a lot of work, but I used that time to reacquaint myself with PSP9.  Let me know what you think, here's Badger (prismacolor) and Badger (PSP)...EDIT...I kept looking at the PSP pic and liked it, but the lack of shading in the white areas bugged me...OCD and all.  So I made some adjustments...better, or worse?

Quoting this old post because I finally had the fourth member drawn up by Brian. Representing Death is Manea, an Etruscan Death Goddess (naturally!)

And being Horsemen, they needed mounts. Created from Fire Opals, and magically given life, these are the mounts of the Horsemen:

My first animated Fabrica image in a long, long time.  I've always liked the color combination of black, royal blue, and white.  I shall call her:

    Ms. Justice!
