1. Re: 150 Point Project I started a wiki page for the 150 point conversions... http://en.wikialpha.org/wiki/List_of_150_point_Hero_character_conversions
2. Re: What's *your* superpower? I can enrage women at will. I think its uncontrolled Mind Control with one command "Attack me for no reason." Just 3d6 of it. I do the clock thing too. Always wake up 2 minutes before it goes off. Drives my wife nuts, which is when the first power kicks in.
3. Re: The Ms Champions Universe contest So those of us who never went to 6th edition get all the fun? Also, I think the 5th edition character Overdrive from VV&V had one of the highest COM and PRE stats I've seen in a while, 130 COM and 70 PRE when he sets his Multipower right, but he's a guy. Still, with those stats he could win.
4. Re: The Ms Champions Universe contest Just saw this thread. If the character from Dragon Magazine, Quantum, is part of the Champions Universe, then I think she ranks pretty high with a COM 36 and a PRE 50. http://home.comcast.net/~mathewignash/PDFs/QUANTUM5.pdf
5. Re: Bygone Champions - Early Editions Here is his character sheet updated to 4th edition: http://home.comcast.net/~mathewignash/PDFs/GALLOPIN.pdf Lady Arcane for 4th edtion: http://home.comcast.net/~mathewignash/PDFs/LARCANE.pdf
6. Re: For all of you Coriolis Effect fans Thanks for answering. Won't transform many people unless it's cumulative. It is meant to be? Or was it in those older rules?
7. Re: For all of you Coriolis Effect fans I was just looking through Coriolis Effect. Can anyone explain what Coriolis' "2D6 Area Transformation (into air)" supposed to be? Is she turning targets into air? Is it supposed to be an early Change Environment power? BTW - That link from the first post is now dead, but you can view archive.org's backup of the pages from that site here: http://waybackmachine.org/*/http://arcane.heroicpub.com/
8. Re: Your PCs might be overpowered if... ...if it becomes more economical to list the skills, perks and talents you character DOES NOT HAVE on their character sheet, rather than the ones they do have.
9. Re: Bygone Champions - Early Editions Here is the write-up for Olga translated to 4th edition. http://home.comcast.net/~mathewignash/PDFs/SPARKPLU.pdf I also converted Well to 4th edition. http://home.comcast.net/~mathewignash/PDFs/WELL.pdf

12. Re: One other thing to model \ In my recent attempt at converting the Zentraedi, I gave them 9 levels of Growth, 0 END, Persistant, and "only changable in the lab" (-1/4), much like a gadget VPP. They can go back to base (or ship) and switch their growth on or off in a chamber, but can't do it in combat.
13. Re: Robotech HERO (spec. Invid Invasion) My own attempt at writing up an Invid Shock Trooper, in Hero 4th ed. Came to 350 points. http://home.comcast.net/~mathewignash/PDFs/ISHOCKTR.pdf The writeup is based on converting the characteristics from the Palladium RPG. Actual height, weight and lifting ability determined Growth, Density Increase and STR. Mental stats are based on the Invid pilot stats from the Palladium Robotech books.
14. Re: Robotech HERO (spec. Invid Invasion) I'd like to view some of the write-ups in this thread but the markup language must have changed. Is there any way to translate it so I can read it easily?
15. Re: Converting RIFTS to HERO I was thinking that perhaps since damage/strength in Palladium in linear, where in Champions it's exponential, you could convert by having 1 MDC be 1 Armor, 2 MDC is 2 Armor, 4 MDC is Armor, etc... MDC/Armor (resistant ED and PD) 1/1 2/2 4/3 8/4 16/5 32/6 64/7 128/8 256/9 512/10 1024/11 That way when converting Rifts dragons and the like, with 400 MDC, they have 9 or 10 armor. Oh, here are two Villians Unlimited conversions, the mutant sisters Ping and Pong from the JP gang. Ping - http://home.comcast.net/~mathewigna
16. Re: 150 Point Project I love making character sheets for new toys I bought, so I wrote this one, and he works great as a 75+75 point sidekick for a technological hero. It's Hacker X-3 from the Transformers 2007 movie toy line! He's a tiny robot who becomes a handheld video game system. He likes to hack computer systems and share his enemies secrets with the world. http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Hacker_X-3 http://home.comcast.net/~mathewignash/PDFs/HACKERX3.pdf
17. Re: Converting RIFTS to HERO I recently made some alterations to Constitution as I've researched the rules more. For instance I changed his Combat Skill Levels. The Palladium write up says he is +7 to strike. I had originally given him +7 OCV, but then I realized that the bonus to strike from Palladium included his PP bonus. Since PP becomes Dex, and his dex gives him a OCV of 8, which is 5 higher than the standard OCV of 8. So I gave him 2 levels, which takes his OCV to 7 higher than a standard human. Here are some other members of the Sentinels of Libertry and Justice: Patroit
18. Re: Bygone Champions - Early Editions The original Rose writeup: Here is Rose converted to 4th edition Champions rules. http://home.comcast.net/~mathewignash/PDFs/ROSE.pdf I used HS Almanac for the Justice Inc talent, and added the DS detects as a mutant (she is a mutant psychic right?) Correct me if I'm wrong.
19. Re: Bygone Champions - Early Editions Okay, looking at the Hero System Almanac info on converting talents from Justice Inc to 4th editon hero, I finished converting Doctor Arcane (with Hypnosis) and Malice (with her sensitivity and empathy). I also added the Mystic Masters disadvantage Adept to both of them. Seemed appropriate. http://home.comcast.net/~mathewignash/PDFs/DOCTOR_A.pdf http://home.comcast.net/~mathewignash/PDFs/MALICE.pdf
20. Re: Bygone Champions - Early Editions Here is Malice: I tried to convert her to 4th edition rules. What is "empathy" and "sensitive to magic"?
21. Re: Bygone Champions - Early Editions Another oldie. Since his nemesis is Annihilator from GSVC, I have him too: http://home.comcast.net/~mathewignash/PDFs/ANNIHILA.pdf
22. Re: Converting RIFTS to HERO Does anyone have a suggestion on how to handle invisibility and "see the invisible" from Rifts? Invisibility is easy enough, buy a common power many races have is "see the invisible." Is that a sense of invisible things? Armor Piercing on the sight sense? Something else?
23. Re: Looking for HERO stats for: "Bullseye" That's an easier approach I guess. Just say all the Apok's attacks are "holy" and demons take the VULN "double BODY from holy attacks". Maybe Apok's have a Change Environment to make their surrounding holy?
24. Re: Looking for HERO stats for: "Bullseye" I fyou want an example of a power that is difficult to sum up in Champions rules, I'd look more to the Apok from Rifts Wormwood. Any weapon in his hands does double damage to demons. I'm still trying to figure that one out. Best I could come up with is a VPP with weird limitations only to add to the damage of an attack... but I mean a cannon fired by an Apok does double damage to Demons? How about a ship-mounted laser...
