  1. Re: Superbabes to Champions... character sheets needed. Yes
  2. Re: Superbabes to Champions... character sheets needed. Anyone find any of the Superbabes suppliments yet? All I can get is the basic Book and the Game of the Century suppliment so far.
  3. Re: What Champions Universe character would you gender change? I was thinking of Overdrive of VVV as female. A mutant villain who increase her stats to insane levels is fun, especially if she was a woman who was always looking to prove herself over the heroes. Going the opposite direction: Princess from Enemies Villainy Unbound works good as a guy who is always getting attacked and needs saving, has an imaginary girlfriend, etc.
  4. I was reading through my recently acquired suppliment Stirke Force and I noticed some of the supporting characters are written up by taking characters from an article in issue #51 of Space Gamer "School Holiday". Can anyone help me get this artice so I can write up the characters?

  7. Re: New Campaign Idea: "X-Men: First Class" As The Only Canon Didn't they depict young Charles and Magneto as friends in the beginning of X3 in the 1990s, where Charles could walk, and they tried to recruit Jean Grey. This would be 30 years AFTER Charles was shot in the back right in First Class right? So he should be in a wheelchair. So somehow 30 years after First Class Magneto gave up his evil ways, Charles had a miraculous recovery, and they worked together for a while. Then Charles had a relapse and Megneto went evil again? Also, if you want to play with ages, Hank McCoy was supposed to be maybe 16 to 18 in First Class. 1962... So in X-Men 3 he is 62 years old? I guess you can chalk that one up to being a mutant. Hey, maybe hank had a temorary cure or an image inducer for X2?
  8. Re: Billionaires: Supervillains earn, Superheroes inherit In the Marvel comics didn't Tony Stark loose his company and have to rebuild it? So technically his CURRENT fortune is self-made.
  9. Re: Kingdom of Champions expanded character sheets. I recently picked up a copy of Strike Force and learned a lot of those character were not fully written up either, so here are a few to start: p40 - Napalm http://home.comcast.net/~mathewignash/PDFs/NAPALM.pdf p40 - Defender http://home.comcast.net/~mathewignash/PDFs/DEFENDE1.pdf p51 - Charade http://home.comcast.net/~mathewignash/PDFs/CHARADE.pdf p59 - Power Lord http://home.comcast.net/~mathewignash/PDFs/POWERLOR.pdf None of these writeups had any real disadvantages section, so I had to write up what I inferred from what was there. Mutants got DF. Married characters for DNPCs or "In Love with" Psych Lims. I gave Power Lord the same vulnerabilities as his father Overlord.
  10. Re: How much damage done "the chair" do? It was an episode of Superman from the 50s actually. I was just wanting to find things he had proven immune to. He took the electricity from an electric chair in one episode, and a lightning bolt in another.
  11. I'm just converting a character from fiction, and wanted to figure out how much defense he has. He is depicted surviving an electric chair execution without seemingly taking any damage (I'd addume not even much stun, since he doesn't seem phased a bit), so the question is how much damage does an electric chair execution do? I'd addume at a minimum at least enough to do double a normal human's BODY on average in a single attack right? So a minimum of 6D6 RKA, no range, no KO? More maybe?
  12. Re: How to do one of Superman's powers in Champions... I don't think this would work in my case, because we have stablished that he didn't hear sound, he heard the the electrical impulse. Also, I don't think the Kryptonite thing counts in this setting. There were only 2 episodes of this series with Kryptonite, not enough to count as a disad.
  13. A bit of an obscure one, but I wanted to write up an accurate Superman character sheet based on the George Reeves Superman TV series. One thing that completely stumped me was his ability to follow phone messages. YOu see in one episode he finds that a criminal boss has a private direct phone line from his hideout to where he's keeping hostages. So Superman has the police inspector pick up the phone and count numbers out loud. Meanwhile Superman takes out and follows by using his super hearing to listen to the phone line and "hear" the speech. Obviously this is a take on the old wives-tale that you can hear a telephone conversation by listening to the phone poll... but he does it. So what power do I need to give a Superman character to let him do this? Simply a discriminator ranged "detect phone conversation" based on hearing? 4th or 5th edition rules please on your power build.
  14. Re: 250 Point Superhero Generator It would be neat if something even more random automated could be made up. Something that just kept adding stats and powers to a character under they added up to 250 points. It would add stats, and try to make at least one attack power, one defense power, and one movement power.
  15. Re: Kingdom of Champions expanded character sheets. No ideas on the constable's stats?
  16. Re: Mathematics based mental attacks? The son on No Ordinary Ramily had incredible aim that seemed to be based on him doing the math of the trajectory of the item he threw. Could be as simple as levels with the special effect "did the math".
  17. Re: Superbabes to Champions... character sheets needed. Pdf?
  18. Re: What's *your* superpower? I can enrage women at will. I think its uncontrolled Mind Control with one command "Attack me for no reason." Just 3d6 of it. I do the clock thing too. Always wake up 2 minutes before it goes off. Drives my wife nuts, which is when the first power kicks in.
  19. Re: Superbabes to Champions... character sheets needed. Anyone have any luck finding any of the suppliments for Superbabes?
  20. Re: Superhumans and their families My last pc had a dnpc teenage daughter. We had many team adventures start by her running off.
  21. Re: Is there a running thread for minor corrections on old books? 402 - Mind Games p20, Soulfire's Killing Strike should cost 4 points, not 5. He should have DF "Detects as a mutant" for 10 points. 450 - Champions pC59, The Tombstone Kid's Telekinesis should cost 20 points, not 13. pC60, Mosquito's REC should cost 4 points, not 0. His EB should cost 20 points, not 30.
  22. Re: Is there a running thread for minor corrections on old books? Enemies For Hire p50, Ronin's Mental Defense should cost 19 points, not 20. His DF "Detects as a mutant" should cost 10 points, not 5.
  23. Re: The Ms Champions Universe contest So those of us who never went to 6th edition get all the fun? Also, I think the 5th edition character Overdrive from VV&V had one of the highest COM and PRE stats I've seen in a while, 130 COM and 70 PRE when he sets his Multipower right, but he's a guy. Still, with those stats he could win.
  24. Re: The Ms Champions Universe contest Just saw this thread. If the character from Dragon Magazine, Quantum, is part of the Champions Universe, then I think she ranks pretty high with a COM 36 and a PRE 50. http://home.comcast.net/~mathewignash/PDFs/QUANTUM5.pdf
  25. Re: Superbabes to Champions... character sheets needed. Here is Stardust, the last of the THREE character sheets I have from Femforce. I can't convert any more unless someone finds more character sheets. http://home.comcast.net/~mathewignash/PDFs/STARDUST.pdf
