I'm playing in a FH game as an Orc Sorceror and one of the schools of magic the GM outlined (but has not developed fully) is smokesculpting. Orc sorcerors can craft solid objects out of smoke (fortresses, walls, armour, weapons, golems, spears falling from the sky, etc).
Most of the spells are fairly obvious, but the one that has me stuck is crafting walls and structures out of smoke. I've created a summon base spell (for creating a fortress), but I want a spell that lets me create permanent walls over large areas, ie: lets encircle this village with a wall, or divide that army into sections with walls, or build a siege ramp, and so on.
Barrier seems to be the spell, but it lacks permanency.
So I've started with a Severe Transform, Limited group (non-mechanical, solid structures), Area of Effect (Any), Megascale 1"=1km, Requires sufficient smoke (-1/2).
It just doesn't feel right, and I am sure I am missing something.
So any input would be appreciated.
