The comical thing to me is when people describe things in heroese. so and so is 32" tall and has a strength of 100. to the non hero folks out there that has got to sound weird. that is why I found the book to be so hard to read. I have played champions since my 11th birthday in '82 and i see the structure of the game has remained pretty much unchanged. It is like having an rpg/tactical game combo. as the old saying goes, "if it ain't broke don't fix it". I did adapt a narrative style for combat in champions a long time ago. so there have been no ''evening of combat" scenarios for me. anyway, I always liked RIPPER. I can't wait for the VIPER book.
  2. If you are the GM of a game such as this, you can stop them. Sure, roll some dice and play along. You can stop them cold though.
  3. Yep. the game was really cool. Now everything has been d20ed. The system for the game itself works well. Top Secret type stuff is what i used it for.
  4. extra copy of justice inc. I happen to have an extra copy of justice inc. that needs a home. I also have lands of mystery. The Justice inc. game i am talking about has never been opened. i think picked it up in a hobby shop's bargain bin. my email is wayner2d2@yahoo.com Again, I never had to open it because I already owned the game. That means it has been sealed now since what ? '84 ?
  5. thanks for the replys. I didn't think about that apect of her power. It looks like HERO can handle it all.
  6. i have just started reading the x men stuff again and i think that Husk's power is pretty cool. Basically, she can "shed" one form and transform into another. It's not multiform though, because she can adapt herself to what ever situation she is in at the time. Would this be more of a VPP?
