  1. Re: What Have You Watched Recently? The Warrior's Way (not so good) Centurion (some good, mostly bad) Fast, Cheap & Out of Control (quirky) The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (fun!) In the Name of the King (arrrgghh...not so good) In the Realms of the Unreal (creepy, but not in a good way) Joe Kidd (Yes! Loved it!) Duck, You Sucker (too long! Disturbingly misogynistic)
  2. Re: Query's Art & Stuff Thread I really enjoy looking back at your earlier work and appreciating your evolution as an artist. Outstanding work Querysphinx!
  3. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine AQUABATS!!! Awesomesauce!
  4. Re: Superhero Images Golden Age, I like the cover! It reminds me of the University of Windsor Building that I use for my Darker Champions Campaign. D.
  5. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Galvanize by The Chemical Brothers just finished as I read through this list.. the next song is Get Lucky by the New Young Pony Club.
  6. Re: Superhero Images falls over.. repped... try the veal.
  7. Re: Superhero Images Bloodcat is a fun character. She's sort of creepy though as she is a variant on a vampire. She needs to taste the blood of someone to emulate their powers with a mimic pool.
  8. Re: Superhero Images Minerva's cape is just a cape, but when she jumps it shows an M shape, also a symbol of the secret society that helps her.
  9. Re: New pic, sort of...
  10. Re: Superhero Images Minerva is a Dark Knight type in Golgoth, a fairly dark city in my campaign. She is the third Minerva of the 20th Century. She is supported by an ancient secret society of women who support the Minerva Project and have been supporting Minervas for generations. The current Minerva is a very inexperienced University student who has replaced the second Minerva who kind of went bad and turned against her mentor. This Minerva is very different than the "character" of past Minervas. She's much more social and cooperative, much to the frustration of her mentor who is an old and crusty lady with an attitude.
  11. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine I got it covered Baloo.. it's pretty awesome Egyptoid!
  12. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine http://www.skaro.org/cel.jpg I saw this actual cel at Nelvana studios back in the early 1990s. I wasn't sure then if it was a good interpretation of the character for an animated series. I think they sort of missed the point there.
  13. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Whatcha Need Mr. Hopcroft? I think it would be an interesting challenge to see what a bunch of us come up with.
  14. Some Designs This can be a very addictive site. I was just waiting for the cable guy to show up and thought I'd design a few characters. I may post some real drawings of them later on as they seem kind of fun.
  15. Doctor Evocator This is retired superhero, current headmaster of Star Academy in Plovik, Ontario. The school specializes in ... ahem... special needs students. The link to the campaign page is http://www.angelfire.com/comics/okum/wrongcrowd.html This is a teen hero campaign. Player characters are built on 75 points plus 75 disadvantages. Teachers range from 250 (Justice League level in my campaigns) to 200 points (standard starting hero level).
