@Old Man, the Assegai isn’t the only weapon thats’s hard to clarify. Depending on area and century Polearms can be confusing to. And don’t forget the old question, when does a knife become a sword?
My fantasy system actually has a rule for that - when the whole is greater than a cubit (elbow to fingertip). Weapons shorter than that are legal to carry in most towns, longer are not.

So a STR Min of 8 or 10 then? Btw I’m not against reducing the DC of the spear one handed bit rather I don’t want to mess with the -1 OCV.
Why exactly is a spear -1 OCV? In hand to hand they're literally point and shoot.

Besides, the invocation is "fairest," not "hottest."
So there will never be an umpire or referree pictured?

Why do programmers get confused between Christmas and Haloween? Because DEC 25 = OCT 31.
There are only 10 kinds of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
There are two types of people in the world. Those that can extrapolate from incomplete data.

One of our players wanted that for a heroine so we used the following:
3d6, 3 Def Entangle, Use Con to break free, Reliable, only on 1 limb
Putting on a time restriction of how long it'll last is also a good idea (such as, 'Entangle only lasts 1 hour')What exactly is Reliable, and where did it come from?

I was building a character and had the idea for a power that would be used to disable an opponent's limbs, probably one at a time.
How would herodom assembled build such an attack? How would it play out? I'll post some of my thoughts after a bit.

Reminds me of something my boss said to me.
"i give you the hard things because you succeed."
I really need to get as much faith in myself as he has...

I have zombies and skeletons have the "takes no stun" power but not the "cannot be stunned". You can smack them back a little.
To be fair it comes with my skeletons having greater speed than humans and zombies a lot more in body than any human so its balancing.
That's about the way my undead work too. You're not going to KO one, but a good whack can buy you a moment to retreat...

For my Master of Orion game:
Missiles: Physical or energy damage depending on type, can fire immediately / fire multiple, guided weapons, finite charges, can be ECM'd.
Torpedoes: Energy weapons, extra phase to charge before firing, no guidance (and no jamming).

Magical attacks or abilities (up to three?) that would be more at home in a sci-fi setting. Ex: A withering sickness caused by radiation.

From my elemental fantasy world, each race is associated with one of the four classic elements. Elves are Water. Natively breathe water, extra swimming, live in an archipelago, though the actual capital is underwater.

Trope might be older than you think too - see HP Lovecraft's story Medusa's Coils. Or rather, don't see it - it's one of his worst works, and the racism is egregious even for Lovecraft.
To be honest, all I was looking for was justifying the mulletpower.
