  1. sorry...oops I forgot each power is described fully in the manual...
  2. How do i build up a power? 1)how do i know how much d6 a power will have? 2)how do i know how much active points a power has? 3)Does how many activepoints you put in a power help to build up the sort of damage a power does or is that another calculation? If it is please add to the formula I know you need 1) the cost per power I want to build up a power first without advantages and limitations . Is there a step-by-step help how to build up a power? eg ForceField or Energyblast... of anything you like to create an example; please add what the formula looks like
  3. remember this: remember the Displacer beast: it displaced itself to make a copy few inches away of itself . So your forccefield would serve as displacement shield giving you a +DCV bonus... (like a dexterity bonus in D&D) It wouldn't be a forcefield persay but it offers you a dodging bonus instead... or you should add the bonus to your dexterity (because DCV is derived from dex) instead... like it was a characterics power link to your heroes dex score
  4. take my example see this the hero that is stated in th example 10 Strength > 15 * 5 cp 10 Dexterity > 10 * 0 cp 10 Constitution > 15 * 10 cp 10 Body > 15 * 10 cp 10 Intelligence > 15 * 5 cp 10 Ego > 10 * 0 10 Presence > 10 * 0 10 comeliness > 10 * 0 ----------------------------------------------------------------- 30 cp PHD: 15/5 = 3 EPH: 15/5=3 SPD: 10/10+1=2 REC: (15/5) + (15/5)=3+3=6 +1 (see above)= 7 END: 15*2= 30 STN: 15+Str/2+Con/2= 15+7.5+7.5=31 (2 cp extra used to raise rec) 1)in what order does a player change his stats? first the "common" stats and then the figured or can the common be changed again after the derived are changed. (i don't have a GM to ask it too so ..) (see 2) for more) 2) 1) i changed rec in to 7 2) i saw that i wanted to change my "common" stats 3) suppose that changes my rec negativily back to 6 4) is this normal? Or shoud i pay again 2 cp to change it back to 7 ? Or should i change my "normal stats" that there is no differends with rec = 7...
  5. If you want to use a d20 herogame why use MM? (that is loosely based on D&D)
  6. the powers remain the same just some common sense thing when using them or converting them...give use some and we see what we can do with them? take the name from the Herobooks and change them like this ... and then you should do this: - limiiations would become flaws - advantages would become extras - powers in EC frameworks become powerstunts to the power you selected that are dirived from or better if they are already describted in the book... - disadvantages become weaknesses - take the scores from the mm game (str,...) say -drain 3d6 would become drain +3 (see the option rule on damage dealing in the MM rules (boxed in rules) about how to handle dungeon dragons like damage rules in MM take any power and convert each total of d6 like this [powername] xd6 = [powername] +x (x defines the powerlevel)
  7. so if i would increase my REC of 6 by 1 to 7 then i would have spend 2 cp ?
  8. Everone knows how a character is build up Start from base 10 stats and increase them when your Figured characteristics change and you want to increase them what has the base value to do with the construction of a character? (base value - each characterics in figured characteristics table is though differend) Do you use it to increase the base value scores or is it the score that is based on the primary stats that is altered? or is it both? Suppose a character would look like this Cp used: 150 10 Strength > 15 * 5 cp 10 Dexterity > 10 * 0 cp 10 Constitution > 15 * 10 cp 10 Body > 15 * 10 cp 10 Intelligence > 15 * 5 cp 10 Ego > 10 * 0 10 Presence > 10 * 0 10 comeliness > 10 * 0 ----------------------------------------------------------------- 30 cp PHD: 15/5 = 3 EPH: 15/5=3 SPD: 10/10+1=2 REC: (15/5) + (15/5)=3+3=6 END: 15*2= 30 STN: 15+Str/2+Con/2= 15+7.5+7.5=31 what is wrong in this character? this character has no name this is just an example so don't look at his identity
  9. The Sorcerer Supreme should defend the world at all cost, not meddle with inferior secondary squabbles. Dr Strange himself saw that Vampires pose a threat to MU and he stopped them by a spell. He easily could "weave" a spell to have peace on earth and etc etc but that doesn't threat the human race: only when hostile "powers" enters in to the fray , SS should stop that threat. A thread could be demons, vampire not a general idea like war or peace or disease (this can't be solved this is meddling with the inner workings of the universe - people need to decide for themself for war and peace ior they can cure famine and disease etc ) Remember that Sh'aar pool in his basement; He needed 5 people to close it down , he rebounded his spell on all five of them creating a pentagram closing the "pool" err rift Also he must ally himself with the three Gods (Vishanti, Agamotto and Hoggoth) of the Temple of Three who organizes each 100 years a selection of the Sorcerer supreme. He also belongs to the Magic of Order (as told in the Realms of Magic books by MSH - TSR) Strange did ally himself one in occasions with demons but that was for his own good : he had to revoke his 3 allies Later they came back to him
  10. why not have a spell as a skill ? Wizards use spells like skills ...
  11. do someone has that generator on paper somewhere? pm me please or email me...i don't have ez magazine
  12. you know the "metal" men from DC?? they have all names of a metal
  13. i saw it in a documentary : they were riding horses but i can't remember which doc it was...few years back
