Re: Something we should all look into.. I have some artistic talent. However, DAZ is more akin to photography than it is to painting or anything else. The only time art talent in the convential sense enters the picture is in Paintshop when re-texturing your objects. See my thread on Columbia for an example of retexturing.

Here's two pix of Columbia for my buddy Mike! The purpose of posting this in two peices is obvious, one shows off her figure better. Female bricks in real life have smaller breasts unless they've invested in some elective surgery. Before I finalize the image, am I bowing to the industry and stereotyping too much? Or do... they... make her look powerful and stuff? And I gotta fix the texture on her right calf... the stripes don't match up.

Ya know... that Fox chick idea is so neat, that DAZ has one of it's own... a set I do not yet possess... http://www.daz3d.com/shop.php?op=itemdetails&item=3055 But as soon as I have it... I'll make some custom stuff for it... Most of my work consists of texturing the objects I buy from DAZ. Anyone caring to compare is welcome to do so, obviously. I'd say that working with DAZ or Poser is a bit like photography... but you get to make up the 1000 words, right? Some of it is just outright rendering DAZ stuff straight, like Black Dragon up there. None of that one is me except the story. I'd like to encourage others to try it, but as I've said, hey... I've already spent the money, you folks just tell me what to do with it. I'm thinking of doing a Ninja HERO webpage with DAZ art... any interest?

And some of the texture maps are fairly explicit, but he's not the only minor exposed to my work, right? I care about other's kids, even if I don't seem to... Also... do vampires sweat? I did her all shiny and stuff... hmmm....

If I'd taken more time to make it with the Second Skin method, it would conform more to your friend's original design. Let me know if I should try the other method. Edit: Rats! I just noticed I screwed up the gloves...

Re: Hey Jkeown!! I'll get right on it... there might be a delay... as I will be moving tomorrow and losing my connection until the 4th. Maybe I can burn them and post them from work... who knows? I can make that costume using a technique called (Appropriately enough!) Second Skin. You go into photoshop and draw the costume right on the character texture... it's tricky and I suck at it, but I'll try. Also.... I've been working on stuff for Yogzilla... he's got a Sentai group I've been playing about with... then there's Lizard Man back there somewhere...
