    Collecivism is a catchall term for every Autocratic Government Form. As fanatic collectivist one can only choose from the far-right row of Governments(Autocracies).

    Lived Communism was pretty much always Autocratic. But with his personality cult I would put Stalin more on the religious track personally.

    Maybe Fanatic Spiritualist/Collectivist? With the 1.3 changes to how slavery tollerance works it should be doable and mixing FS into it will give you Anti-Ethics divergence through the roof.

  4. Gravity as special Effect has one big problem:
    It can logically do what no balanced Hero Power should be able to do. Mostly being a unbreakable, only NND level counterable disable.

     

    Straightforward would be TK. And just leaving it there. Accept the limits of "must hit OCV vs DCV" and "high STR can break out" as part of gameplay balance.

     

    Otherwise you have to use Flight, UAA.

     

     

    I like flight UAA. The problem with entangle is its strength based-unless that is able to be changed with 6th.

    You can explicitly change the "counter ability" of a Entangle. Ego is even a book example. I think Con was mentiond against Poisions.

    The Lox'Ungrak-Va Progenitors contacted us today.* They assume our empire will not survive the coming centuries and said we should send a few million of our people to live in a preserve as part of their "Endangered Species" program.
    Aside from being insulting, they also did not aske for volunteers but demanded them. We rejected that proposal.

    It is important to be clear what one stands for. As example, it was now made illegal to comit too war's of conquest. Wars of Liberation are still allowed, however.

    The Andigonj had a really rough start. Being a Stone-Age Civilisation enslaved by the Cyggan, they were only recently freed and given sovereignty. However they quickly petitioned for Vassalage under the Aloftewek Accord.
    Until the the Situation has not improoved. So we now decided to fully integrate them into our empire, to give them full access to our resources and technology, while also giving them all the benefits of being udner our rule.
    The integration process is expected to take only 2 Years, but will take considerable effort during that time**

    Of the 4 planets in the Aclinda System, 2 are inhabited. 1 is marked for Terraforming or later colonisation. And the 4th harbors a primitive species. The species was under passive observation for quite some time now. However during a plant gathering mission one of the scientist has gone missing. A immediate search did not succeed, because we could not risk alerting the natives to our presence.

    Gluggbafh in Kamp System - the only planet of the Andigonj has been fully integrated into the Accord.
    Governor Yndan has been named to take the building on the planet into his hands.
    However, a lot of the surface is still covered in massive glaciers - a obstacle our previous colonisation attempts never had to overcome.

    After the research branch finished thier extensive investigation into the Uplifting of pre-sentient species, they now focus all thier effort on making all that land on Gluggbafh accessible.

    We found the mother of all Cristaline Entities in the Dontaur systems. Firguratively because of the size. We are not yet certain if literally too, but as it is surrounded by a Cristaline Entity Armada that seems at least plausible. Remote research has begun.

    Our Fleet finished retrofitting to a new "Cristallien Hunter" armament. The loadout eshews Point Defense, in favor of more armor piercing weapons.

    Our remote observation of hte Cristalline 'Mother' entity yielded results. We have figured out how to simulate the self-regeneration cristalline hull of the Cristalline Entities.

    Our new and first democratically elected President takes office today. President Bernalon (40) will stay in office for the next 10 years, baring any accidents or being voted out (wich seems unlikely at best).
    This also marks the first time in the last 80 years in wich a Chairman did not end his rulership with his death.

    Similar to the Cristalline Entities, it appears the Mining Drones too have a "core System". Apparently a sort of mineral processing hub in the Suth System, just near the end of the Tyrathian Empire.

    The Fleet Enganged another Cristalline Entity System, suffering heavy casualties (20/40 Corvettes) in the process.

    Research into a new Shipclass has been completed. After the Spaceports have been upgraded to support them, the new Cruisers will be a welcome addition to our fleets.

    Strange Reports on Gablor (the planet where we lost a scientist). One of the Kingdoms has rallied under a Mysterous Religious Figure and showed use of Technology far beyond what is to be expected of a Bronze Age Civilisation. We asume a connection to the missing scientist.
    Effectively the planet just made a leap into the Industrial Age! Quite alarming.

    Gluggbafh has been fully freed of the Glacial foramtions that blocked so much of it's habitable surface. Also the upgrade of most of our Spaceports is complete.
    12 Vithar Class Cruisers have been ordered to be build.

    We have finally unlocked the "Secret" of Self-Regenerating hulls from the Cristaline Entities. This should drastically increase the ability of our ships to operate away from home.

    We once again became Patrons of the Artisans for the following 10 years. We also negotiated a (unrelated) deal, that they will be touring across our plants for the next 5 years to increase morale.

    We found a Pirate "base" of sort in the Acculum System. Aside from numerous small ships, there is also a "Battleship" of sorts. It appears to be a collecting of Shipparts as well as several asteroid bases with engines and considerable armament.

    Some of the Artisans feel so happy on our planets that they decided to stay. We allowed them to pick a place to live.

    The extraction was a success, however it was far from a silent operation. Hundreds of natives had to be shoot down when they tried to protect their "god". They also still posses all the technology that the Rogue Scientist gave them.

    The Cyggan fleet made a suicidal charge agaisnt our Fleet while defending the Cyggdar System.

    In a surprise turn the Uriy have declared that they will now defend the Ox'Braxi from any direct attack. However due to thier Association status with our Federation they will not interfere in the running war.

    As the Tyrathian are making incursions into the Braxi territory, we decided to end the war with only the 2nd Planet in Khamb freed.
    This planet housed the Andigonj people, a former Stone Age civilisation taht was enslaved by the Cyggan. They have formed the new Andigonj Confederacy.

    Considering their weak galactic position, the Andigonj agreed to become our vassal. The plans are to integrated them as soon as feasible.

    A Federation invite has been send to the Uriy pact. Their acceptance seems highly likely.
    Meanwhile the Tyrathian agression can not remain unanswered. While the other members are leery to revoke the association status, our government has made it clear that they will not tollerate them any longer (declared Rivalry).
    Hopefully this will reduce relations to the point where the Tyrathian will revoke thier association themself.

    A Research Agreement has been signed with the Uriy. The personel that has to enter Uriy space will be briefed on the specific mating patterns (usually shows of martial prowess as used to impress potential partners, preferably from other species). Both genders have to be equally prepared.

    After some additional insults, the Tyrathian finally revoked the association status. The truce will last at least until 2284.
    There has been harsh critique of the other alliance partners for this treatment.

    A liberation war has been proposed against the Ox'Braxi Nation. All Alliance members are likely to agree.

    The war has officially begun. After the casualties of the previous 2 Wars resistance is expected to be extremely low.

    Today the Bright Entente votes on a Libeartion war against the northern half of the Cyggan empire. The goal is to dislodge the Blockade blocking us from the south/west quadrant. While also bringing the people under a more open regime.
    3 Systems and 3 Planets in total will be affected. However a 4th planet also in one of the systems can not be liberated at the present time.

    All powers of the Entente agreed. The 1st Cyggan liberation war has now begun. Enemies will be the Cyggan to the west. And the Ox'Braxi to the north.

    In a battle of lasers agaisnt torpedoes, the 1st Armada under Admiral Karba (69), won and defeated the Cyggan fleet in Seatera. However the fleet is far from unscathed by this battle (25/38 survived). All the damaged ships are ordered back home, while the remainder (12) continues to defend our space.

    A small Qasva fleet infiltrated the Cyggan home System and destroyed the enemy spaceport, drastically reducing the enemies production ability.

    2245.07.07:
    A deepstrike by the Gorothi against the Braxi turned out a lot less sucessfull, having to retreat against a powerefull enemy armada.

    While the groundforces to lead the attack are not yet fully ready, the 1st Armada has already begun laying siege to the enemy Capitol Planet. The hope is that such a swift, decisives strike would force the enemy government to surrender cutting the war shorter.

    The troops are leaving Saetera Prime today. The siege of the Cyggan Captitol has progressed well thus far. Meanywhile the Qasva fleet has been destroying military space installations all across Cyggan space.

    Our fleet has destoryed a Spaceport over another secondary world, preparing the way for a ground invasion.

    Today we started a bold new project: Learning how to transform one Biosphere into another. Scientist are certain that the astronomic costs could be reduced significantly if we can get our hands on specific helpfull gasses and liquids.

    The 2nd enemy Planet has been taken. That leaves 4 more to invade, inlcuding the 3 that are the actuall goal of this war.

    The 3rd planet has been secured, while the 4th is already under fire.

    While the ground combat on the 4th planet is being finished, the fleet has been ordered to engage a Ox'Braxi fleet that suddenly appeared in our space.

    The 4th planet has been taken, leaving only 2 in two systems as well as a Braxi fleet to go.

    The enemy fleet has laid siege to our occupation of the Cyggan homeworld. Our fleet has just been upgraded and reinforced, and is send to intercept the enemy before he can escape.

    A wild FTL chase after the enemy fleet has started, with our fleet missing the enemy barely every time.

    2251.05.11:
    The Research pacts with the Imari and Wessari have been renewed.

    2251.10.22:
    Treachery! After having leading our fleet on a wild goose chase for months and gradually gaining an advantage, the enemy fleet made a surprise attack when our fleet was just recovering from the warp jump. However the enemy was routed after a short exchange.

    With the war going overwhelmingly well we now have the leisure resources to trade with the Artisan Troupe for the first time.
    A great Monument has been ordered and we became Patron for 10 years. The payoff of the later step is not yet knowable.

    The Cyggan have re-captured one of the taken planets. It is now time again to fully focus our attention on the Cyggan empire.

    Admiral Karba died at age 78 today.

    The 1st Armada has been put under command of Admiral Linntyl (33), not to be mistake for the legedary scientist of a similar name.

    The plans for a network of FTL inhibitor platforms have been made. Work is expected to start within the year.

    Mission Accomplished.
    The enemy gave in to our demands. Our ships and soldiers can now return home and the new Cyggan Administration has formed.

    2255.05.23:
    The Cyggan Administration subjected itself to our rule. They are now our vassals, as the Wassari before them.

    2255.08.04:
    The artisan Troupe has contacted us. They request additional resources as apparently their people have been fallen into slight depression and disconnect to the physical world. We decided to give them the requested resources as we can spare them.*

    2256.09.02:
    While we were at a slight disadvantage as the enemy already had bigger Destroyer class ships in it's fleet, we now have aquired that technology ourself. Research into optimising the production and maybe build something even bigger are underway.

    2257.02.08:
    The first Destroyer of the Ethill class has been ordered. The Drydock is expected to take slightly under 3 Months to complete the work.
    Meanwhile Executive Eleman has been talking about "drastically shorting the Leaders term" and potentially turn voting over from the ruling council to the population at large.


    *I am not sure what giving resources does precisely. What I do know that last time giving it, I got a Empire Unique Building from them.

    Today is a momentous day, because we have met our first alien Spacefarers. While these beings appear to be low intelligence Animals, they do show us that there is life in our Universe. (Space Whale Sighted)

    The first Survey of the planets within one Warpjump is complete. We could confirm potentially habitable Planets in Sapad (17) and Tirgira (13) System to the west and south respectively.
    Deeper survey of the interstellar medium will now begin.

    While testing our Survey equipment in the Watrain Spast system, we detected formerly overlooked formation Ordranka's Holding. Preliminary scans indicate it is not natural and looks like writing.

    2201.01.30:
    After over a year, the Preliminary Survey of Watrain Spast is complete. Our Survey corps is now going to explore planets with Potentially Habitable worlds in more detail.

    2201.02.22:
    Another Primtive Alien Spaceborne has been found in the Sapad System. These beings appear to Opearte in small 'Flocks'. Their reaction on approach clearly indicates a hostile or defensive reaction. (Space Amobea Sighted).

    2201.03.13:
    It appears these "Space Amobea" in Sapad are just not moving right now. The survey corp will survey some other system while we hope they move further along thier Migration path.

    2201.08.15:
    What a joyous moment: We finally found Intelligent Spacefaring life to our South/West. More over, we seem to have found thier home system and it appears they are at the same development stage as us. While translating their language might take time and a combined effort, it appears their species prefers a much colder climate. So conflict for coloniseable systems seems unlikely.

    Another Intelligent Species in a similar Development state was found to our South. These beings home Planet seems very similar to our own.

    It appears the Space Amobea have moved out of Sapad. So now the Survey can finally commence.

    While looking for further Intelligent Neighbours, the 1st Armade found a system with a Ring of Cristalline Asteroids. While potentially rich in minerals the remains of destroyed mining stations and signs of moment among the belt indicate that harvesting might become an issue quickly.

    A month of Mysteries continues. During survey of the Sapad System the corps found something that appears to be active tracking beacon of some kind.

    2202.12.25:
    Another primitive Spaceborne has been found. This one appears to be a highly agressive form of Mobile Nebula. (Space Cloud found)

    2303.03.11:
    While finishing up the Survey of Sapad, the agressive Space Amobea suddenly jumped back in and started attacking our Science Ships. Thanks to them being Exhausted from their jump, the team made it our safely using a Emergency FTL jump

    A third Intelligent Species was found to the North/east of our home System. Like our first contact, these beings too seem to prefer arctic climates.

    2204.05.08:
    Far to the North in the Enkef System we found an alien Space Station that seems to be inhabited. The Life Support readings do not conform to any of the previously encountered species precisely, so until establishment of contact we are going to asume they are a new - albeit highly secluded - Enclave*.

    In the Nothern Aclinda System - wich holds a potential Target for Colonisation - we found our first Primitive Civilisation. These people appear to be still deep in the Stone Age. Debates started wheter or not to settle beside them, to engage in peacefull and mutual exchange.
    In either case the hot and dry planet would be extremely inhospitable for our people.

    Years of research into colonisation has finally paid off. The moment we gather the resources, we can launch our first colony ship.
    Efforts to communicate and udnerstand the encountered alien life has been doubled.**

    Communications has finally been established to our first intelligent Contact.
    The Cyggan Blessed Concordat is unfortunately highly Xenophobic and Religiously opinionated agaisnt all other species (Evangelist Zealots; Fanatic Xenophobe). We hope we can still come to a mutual understanding.

    Unfortunately all attempts at closer interaction with the Cyggan have been met with rejection. Now the Cyggan borders were officially closed to our ships and people, limiting us to purely long range contact.

    Communication with the Station in Enef has finally been established.
    They call themself the "Artisan Troupe"*, a collection of Artists from all across the Galaxy. They offered us thier artistic services, however the prices are currently not affordable for the Council.

    Having thus far only encountered species on our technological level, we were unprepared for our contact with the Athalid Vesitge.
    Apparently an ancient but stagnated empire, they have been able to instantly contact us and warned us that no ships or colonies near thier space will be tollerated. They appear to be highly Xenophobic and Isolationistic.***

    We finally managed to establish contact with the 3rd contact.
    The Galactic Gorothi Coalition seems to be a highly Capitalistic soceity. While they seem willing to trade, they are also highly militarized and centralised - quite a contrast to our people.

    We establish communication with the final of the Intelligent Neighbours.
    The Qasvalyvia Nation is highly geared towards scientific progress. They greted our interest in visits with open arms.

    2206.09.17:
    In the Qapra Sytems we found another Primitive Civilisation, this time in the Renaissance Age.
    That makes the 2nd Primitive Species in a Colonisable System right next to Gorothi Space. The debates if we should colonise those system is now including the question if we should protect those primitive people from the more agressive Neighbours that would maybe not hesistate to just overrun and enslave them.

    After much coordianted effort, our first Colony ship is finished. It's target will be in the nearby Sapad sytem.
    While there are other planets as possible targets (4 in total), none of the seem as enticing as this nearby planet for our first colony.

    The landing sequence of our first colony ship is completed. A lot of hard work lies ahead of the colonist to establish a "first in" colony so that further growth and imigration can take place.

    In Voldop on the South/easter galactic border we founds signs of a early space age civilisation. They might soon make the jump to the Stars.

    Sapad Prime has been officially established. It is now capable of taking on newcommers from our Homeworld. However still much work remains until it is fully operational and self-sufficient.

    The Wessari Cilivisation in Voldop has been identified. They are close to the leap into the space age. Establishing contact with them to help them make this step and find their way in this dangerous galaxy is being considered. They appear to be a highly warriorlike Culture.

    Another Primitive Civilisation has been found, but it falls square into the planned expansion of the Qasvalyvia Nation. As the Industrial Age Quasari are extremely religious, it seems unlikely they will react well to contact with the Scientific Qasvalyvia Nation.

    2211.08.25:
    A terrible loss for our people happened today. While surveying the border between the south and north eastern quadrant, our fleet jumped to close to a Space Amobea Flock, was attacked and destroyed before emergency FTL jump could be ordered.

    2211.11.22:
    The Observation Post in Voldop is complete. The work of helping the Wessari to finish the final step of thier journey into space has begun. It is expected to take about 3 Years.

    2212.07.15:
    It appears Space Piracy is now a thing. The "Cabal of Captains" has formed, a space piracy group with the declared goal of pillaging wherever they can.

    2212.08.30:
    The writings on Odranka's Holding have finally been deciphered. Apparently someone used a mining-laser to carve the biography of a alien mercenary into the moon surface.

    2213.08.29:
    Tones have become rather rough between the Religious Cyggan and the Scientific Qasvalyvia to our south. Since there is already considerable emnity between the Cyggan and our people, we decide to throw our support in with the Qasvalyvia.

    A non-agression pact has been signed between the Qasvalyvia and our people. This will further improove our relations.
    A further Defense Pact is being considered by both sides.

    When a asteroid sleeps, what does it dream of?
    We may soon know. A asteroid far off Astinda System seems to contain a form a primitive Neural Lattice. A project to move it to our space has been started.

    It appears the intelligence in the Asteroid was not capable of surviving outside it's protective shell. Once exposed to the vacuum of space it quickly fractured, making this perhaps the first time one of our people has killed a being not from our homeworld.

    While Surveying the systems around Voldop, we found yet anotehr primitive Civilisation. These however are still in the Stone Age. We hope the Wessari people will let them develop peacefully.

    The Pirate group "Cabal of Captains" finally revealed itself in a open attack on our Installations in the Sapad system.
    Admiral Karba has been tasked with quickly preparing our limited fleet to meet these Anarchists.

    What does a Ceramic Pot do in Orbit around the Star in the Qapra system? A section of the survey corp is tasked to answer that question.

    The Pirate attack on Sapad destroyed the local mining Station before the local fleet could be mobilised. However, chances are good to track them back to their base to end the pirates reign of terror.

    The Pirate base has been found in the Lythorius System. A operartion by the Gorothi agaisnt the pirates is already underway, we decided to join under thier command.

    The Pirate threat has been neutralized. However the Gorothi did not wait for our fleet to reach to help.

    The Wessari have finally reached the Stars. The New "Holy Wessari League" has joined us as a Protectorate.

    Space Amobeas attacked our mining stations in Watrain Spast. Our military was not able to counter the powerfull cosmoceans and focussed on evacuating the stations.

    The Gorothi placed a military Frontier Post into the Qapra system, effectively blocking us from colonizing the System. Future opeartions to protect the local primitives are being considered.

    2216.09.12:
    In order to fight of the Hostile and Agressive Neighbours better, a Reserach agreement has been signed between our and the Southern Nation, further strenghtening the ties between our people.

    2217.01.27:
    Our new Colonyship "Seleng the Venerable" was today finished and left the Spaceport. It will go north into the Aclinda System and towards the Artisan Troupe's home.

    2218.01.27:
    Our investigation of the ceramic pot is over and we learned - absolutely nothing. On the plus side our scientists did have some time to spend on philosophical and economic questions when they needed a break for think about a ceramic pot in a perfect orbit around a star.

    Our first in Colony on Aclinda Prime has been established. Meanwhile the Gorothi established a colony in the nearby Cordip system.

    Shortly after restarting they exploration of the South/North Quandrant border again, a new Empire has been found. Contact is being established.

    The Imperial Tyrathian Stars is highly imperialistic, but far out of our immediate Neighbourhood. They are west of the Cyggan State.

    A 4th Colony has been errected in the Tigira System.

    The Ox'Braxi just declared us to "Targets of Opportunity".

    We encountered a new Type of Cosmozean, of sorts. It appears to be a fully automated drone Station and Fleet. Reserach into thier origins are underway.

    The unknown Fleet and station appear to be ancient, abandoned Mining Drones. Their continued operation is impressive and further investigation by the Engineerng Department has been ordered.

    The ancient mining drones attacked our exploration fleet. Only 2 of the 6 ships escaped and a heading back the friendly space for repairs.

    Another colonyship is underway, this time to found a mining colony on a tropical planet in the Seaetera system at the westernmost part of our border.
    Another colony ship is being build. It's goal will be the ocean planet in the Aclinda System.

    The Cyggan and Ox'Braxi just signed a mutual Defense pact, idicating a troublesome closeness between these two expansionist empires.

    In the last years a massive Arming project has been executed and now the Corvette Flotilla under Admiral Karba is at the top of what our colonies can support.
    It is time to hunt a few of those "Void Cloud" entities.

    Two years and two dead Voidclouds later, considerable usefull data has been gathered. The Mining drones will be the next target of opportunity.

    Now the Ancient Mining drones too fell to our Warriors. Still, there is much reserach to be done before we can consider taking on any of the bigger local empires.

    The Imare from the South/Western arm of the Galaxy keep trying to negotation a mutual defense pact with us. However, we can not yet deal with the added obligations that would entail. First we have to consolidate our 3 disparate Defense pacts of the South/east into a powerfull Alliance.

    Artisans can give some rare buildings with Happyness, Xenophiliac, Migration and Ethics Divergence over expensive projects and finally increase happiness Empirewide through festivals.

    **They fixed that bug where I could just paralellise the species communication projects. Still, I got the Colony ship tech so I got time now.

    ***Also, they look like giant butterflies. One of the new "cutie" Portraits of Leviathan. It is fun (in a highly disconcerting way) to have them have the most agressive AI types in the game.

    ****Defense pacts cost a lot of Influence per month. But few things can beat them in building trust for further agreements. Like Research and Migration treaties. Not to mention the benefit of not being attacked quite so freely.

  12. So Stellaris got an update.

    We got severe overhauls of half the core mechanics (again). New Species Portrait. And with the DLC, space Dragons - firebreath included (Leviathans).

     

    While I already started a Multiplayer game with friends using the stock UNS Faction, the is little time for Documentation. So the 1st Aloftewek Council* will be what I play today.

    *The names will be mostly based on punni expressions. I wonder if anyone can spot where the came from.

     

    The 'Ruforal' come from the Planet 'Ploftehat' in the 'Watrain Spast'-System. They always wondered if there is other life among the Stars. Now after centuries of dreaming, they are finally free to leave the cradle of thier homework.

     

    The years is 2200 GTS. The Aloftewek have just finished thier experiments with Warpdrives and are now ready to walk among the Stars. The Survey of the home system and military exploration of the nearby system begins now.

  13. The Schiaparelli lander smudge's location on Mars has been imaged.  It's likely that the hydrazine tanks were still mostly full on impact, which would have resulted in an explode.

  14. The first problem is that usually "Disease and Toxin" do not exist as natural, Environmental effects. With Toxins writing them up as powers (of the using critter) comes naturally. But Disease by definition should be a campaign rule.

    APG II 110 offers some ideas for Diseases as "Environemtal Effects" (similar to heat, cold thrist). The same section also introduces a few rules for Sleep Deprivation.

     

    There will be two factors to consider:
    The suppy places along the roads (Oases, Lakes, crossed Rivers).

    And the (limited) reserve in the supply train. Usually enough to get to the next place, maybe a weeks worth.
    A human needs about 2 Liters per day. So 15k soldiers need about 30.0000 Liters per day. More like 45 when marching through a desert. That is a LOT of water to spoil. Plus the water supplies themself are large, so you need one heck of a posion to get 30k Liters of one lake dangerous enough for the consumer.

     

    There would also not be a whole lot of raw materials (herbs) to use in a desert.

    Realistically it could just not work out on a mater of scale. A Team of 5 can not stop an army of 15k. The amount of posion needed would be too much. The amounts of supplies to affect are simply to large. And soldiers take guarding thier food and water damn seriously in such a terrain.
    With a diseases that has a long onset time? Perhaps.* The idea is to have everyone infected before the first symptoms become apparent.

    Damaging the reserve barrels might have more effect both on Morale and movement speed (they might have to double back/make haste to next source and then rest).

     

    If it works out, it could also backfire rather horribly:

    A barren Landscape with a few Oasis dotted would qualify as "desperate terrain" per "The Art of War". Basically the soldiers are too endangered by the Environment to consider desertion or lax guarding of thier supplies.

    Putting a army without a way of escape into a more desperate situation tends to lead to more desperate attack/last stand. There are numerous cases through History were generals intentionally put thier army into a "do or die" Situation, to trigger that effect (burning the ships or supply train; fighting with no escape route. actively blocking the escape route the enemy left with oxen or similar).

     

    *Note that Europeans of that time still believed in the Miasma Theory. In turn the Arabic Medicine was a whole lot more advanced. Depending on who that enemy is, there might actually be a considerable knowledge gap.

  15. I was pretty certain it was about the stars inside a galaxy being effected by the gravity of something outside the galaxy, generally speaking, surrounding the galaxy. Like perhaps cluster of dwarf galaxies. Numerous but individually too dim to notice on their own merit.

    I re-read on it on Wikipedia.

    The main problem is that at thier rotational speed, the outliying stars of our galaxy would have to fly off. The centrifugal/innterial force of thier movement is greater then the gravity excerted by the visible mater. By a order of magnitude.

    Plus there appaers to be an effect on gavitic lenseing through galaxies.

    The Body score of the (dead) body has no effect on the living being. It is inherently easier to kill somebody then to varporize his entire body. Just ask anyone doing cremations.

     

    Also this is what the rule says:

    "Te Healing must actually

    Heal enough BODY damage (with one or more

    rolls, subject to the usual rules on maximums) to

    bring the deceased back to positive BODY (or at

    least stabilize him in the negative BODY range

    so he’s not bleeding to death). In most cases, it’s

    appropriate for the GM to rule that a deceased

    character can “stand back up” and function like a

    living being when he has at least 1 positive BODY

    (or has been stabilized in negative BODY) and 1

    positive STUN."

    You get the same rules for repeated rolling and maximum effect as normal Healing. Wich depend on the Campaign.

  17. When I've built Colossus I've built his "Armor" as a No END Force Field.  He reverts to his non-armored form when he's stunned or knocked unconscious.

     

    Apparently the "Deadpool" version was a little tougher, even if he was a classic "Code of the Hero" type hero.

    I would say that Colussus suffered from the Superman Problem:

    If he would not be a total Boyscout (or whatever the Russian equivalent is), he would be right scary at that powerlevel.

     

    It is also noticeable that this version of colossus stayed like that. Even when driving a cab.

The only difference in the VPP between 5E and 6E I am aware of (and I think I compared the text there way back) is that Control Cost and Reserve (not sure about the terms; Active Point Cap and Real Point Cost Sum for the Powers) no longer have to be the same. The change is so miniscule, you can likely back-port it to 5E without breaking anything.

    Everything else was actually in the Powers/Advantages/Limitations themself being changed.

     

    Spiderman is one of the odder heroes, as he is like Batman and Ironman what I call an "Adaptor". He adapts his gear to counter certain villains. Similar to Batman, he also is more prone to have Solo-Titles then group titles. As such extracting his "group" part is hard.   19. Aside from what whitekeys already said, the only thing of worry I have is the "1 Charge which Never Recovers (-4)" Limitation.

    If this is supposed to be a item that is not bought with points (like a single Use Scroll), generally "1 Charge" would be more fitting.

    If this is a power bought with points, it will be useless points after that use. Unless you later spend the points needed to lessen the limitation value (to somwhat recovering).

  20. Mental Illusions I can see being very useful as a special effect of some of the other, more common, Drain attacks that are a "staple" of pokemon battles. Same for the suggestion about defensive powers. I like Invisibility, Psionic (-1/2) ...  Is it really a limitation, though? Or could that limitation be something else, like AVAD, Works Against EGO?

    Psionic (-1/2) is a semi-official Limitation. It is in the 6E APG II book, page 49. The description is as following:

    "Tis Limitation represents a power that simulates a psionic ability — which means it should

    only work when other minds are present, not

    when inanimate objects are involved. It doesn’t

    apply to Mental Powers (which already suffer

    from this restriction); it’s intended for abilities

    that normally would apply to “mental” and “nonmental” situations. Examples include Combat

    Skill Levels, Danger Sense, and certain attacks that

    placed it linger in it), but not a rockslide or other

    natural disaster (which have no “mental” component at all)."

  21. This is a toss up between Multiform and Only in Heroic Identity/Only in Alternate Identity. It also overlaps a bit with the "How to build Hulk" question, so I will answer as if to that one:

    Multiform with "Puny Banner" being the obviously weaker baseform does come to mind (weaker because it has to pay for the Multiform).

    But there are a few cases where puny Banner is not quite as puny:

    Some interpretations have him be a super-genius, that uses Tony Stark/Reed Richards level technology to defeat foes only the Hulk could normally beat.

    Others (like the two most recent Avengers and the recent Agent of Smash cartoon Series) have him stay "Hulked out" 24/7. Here Hulk simply is the Character, with Banner maybe making one appereance over multiple seasons.

    As far as Powers go, Growth and DI are basically just "Brick Powers, light".

    It gives you STR and defenses, but at the same time costs you endurance and applies some limitations.

  22. I see a few areas of Mental Powers:

    Mental Combat Powers. In Particular Mental Illusion, Mind Control. Mental Blast, Telekinesis.

     

    Mental Sensing. Mind Scan can already do a lot, but you can put other senses into the "Mental Group" as well.

     

    Any Sense Affecting or Defensive Power, Psionic (-1/2).

    Invisibility, Psionics (-1/2) allows you to "cloud peoples mind".

     

    Mind Link: A very common trick for teams with Team Mentalists. Basically it offers really hard to intercept communication. Can be greatly seen used in Young Justice cartoon.
