Re: PLEASE ! No more 'What would your character do ?' threads Here's how I plan on handling WWYCD threads. A) I'm going to repsond to them whenever I see one I haven't done and my character's would potentially have a response. I'm only going to post a new WWYCD if there are no other WWYCD threads on the first page of the Champion's forum. I'm not going to promise to follow any other kind of timeline (whether it be a week or a day or even an hour) but I will respect forum traffic. To me this seems like a reasonable and manageble compromise and I'd encourage other WWYCD fans to follow the same guidelines.

No more 'What would your character do ?' threads The last WWYCD thread was posted sept 3rd It's now sept 5th if someone has a WWYCD questions they'd like to ask I think it would be fair to introduce a new one afterall not only have all the WWYCD threads migrated from the first page but even this thread has as well.

Re: PLEASE ! No more 'What would your character do ?' threads I love the WWYCD threads but I agree there have been too many posted. My personal guideline is I don't post a new thread unless when I check the Champions board none are left on the first page. I think the real problem (if you want to call it that) is that once a person starts answering WWYCD threads they seek out older ones to answer as well so there can be a sudden glut caused by a single person answering all the old threads they can find. The flip side though is that WWYCD threads are not lengthy discussions and while people may read them repeatedly (when new posts are made) few people post more than once so they are moved off the front page relatively quickly by more traditonal "heated discussions."

Re: Wwycd? #98 Husky would patrol. Kenneth woud check the cities surveillance systems for any possible clues to help guide him while operating as Husky. A dozen evidence gathering robots would be sent to collect extensive data at the scene of each prank.

Re: Wwycd? #97 Husky would go chat with the artist and odds are Husky's super charm will win over the artist. If that fails after transforming into Kenneth back at the lab. Kenneth will assign the public relation droid to pull some strings and get the strip dumped by the major media outlets and offer Husky interview air time to any news agencies that are willing to take an honest look at how the strip is anathema to the upright role model Husky has always provided for the people of the world.

Re: Wwycd #99 Husky would politely decline knowing that his powers would turn her into a monster unless she had Kenneth's brainpower. Kenneth would refuse because he believes as much as his mutant intellect isolates him it is also the only thing in his life that makes it worth living. Kenneth would offer to clone the girls original body and embue it with some powers if that would help.

Re: WWYCD #95: Leaden Curtain Husky may become a rampaging monster since Kenneth's super intellect is the only thing that stops Husky from being a monster (that's how Shaggy got created, a bully stole the wrong juice box). Assuming his teammates can subdue him (since Husky is the one who usually has to subdue Shaggy this could be a problem). If the team manage to capture Husky and return him to the Leviathan Tower the Clarkebots and Sidekick will swing into high gear in an attempt to transform Husky back into Kenneth without exposing his secret to the members of the team who don't already know. The medic droid and research terminals should be able to devise a solution. Kenneth with an INT of 35 is still a formidable intellect but he'll feel like an idiot he'll work with the Medic Bot to develop a remedy as quickly as possible staying locked in the lab. Sidekick and the imposter driods will have to imitate Husky and Kenneth until the cure is found.

Re: WWYCD #92: Back to the Future If there is adventuring to be had Husky will be fine and adapt quickly but he would miss the rest of the Leviathan 5. Kenneth would harvest the technological breakthroughs and enjoy the challenge of actually having new things to learn. He'll probably research a way home in his spare time but it won't be a pressing issue since most people won't even appreciate the difference in the technology he brings back compared to his own Huskitonian technology.

Re: WWYCD #94: The Nar Cola endorsement Husky: Let me explain. I have access to Huskitonian technology, I have no needs or wants your money could satisy that I cannot easily fabricate in the Fortress of Huskitude. If you see me drinking one of your beverages feel free to take a picture and donate whatever amount of money you feel is appropriate to a charity that supports under funded school districts. *leaning in closely with just a touch of intimidation and a lowerting of the voice* "Trust me, I'll know how much you donate and where that money goes so lets keep this friendly but unofficial." After changing into Kenneth. Kenneth will have the public relation robot (Katie Kat) contact any other corporations who might be interested in endorsement and establish a friendly but non-contractual arrangement. Kenneth might also assign the legal droid (Perry Matlock) to back her up on the assignment.

Re: WWYCD #90: Brainwave Husky wouldn't use the intellect since he is psychologically driven to be the action hero and leave the thinking to Kenneth while in the lab. Now if the transformation has effected Kenneth as well his Intelligence is now a whopping 90. His invention VPP might as well not have a control roll, his deduction based pre & post cognition are even more precise, and his robotic minions are even more in awe of him. Figuring out mysteries now will be really easy meaning Kenneth may sub consciously generate some additonal world threats "on accident" just to keep things interesting.

Re: WWYCD #91 - A matter of Family Well since Husky and Kenneth accidentally helped create their main archnemises "Shaggy" we'll assume the super villain is in fact Dr. Noble our campaign world's main villain. Well this would explain where Kenneth got his amazing intelligence and grasp of technical science including biology. Kenneth would be intrigued by the illness that plagued Dr Noble since previously he's always been able to ressurect himself via his psychic microbes and extensive clone banks. Kenneth would probably be driven by his own curiousity and take a few too many risks. If Dr. Noble set up this whole thing as trap then Kenneth as Husky would put the smackdown. But if Dr. Noble attempted to sway Kenneth to the side of villainy the allure might just be too great. Kenneth uses the Husky persona to get a sense of belonging and escape the normalcy of his own family a super intelligent relative looking for a worthy hier might just change the charismatic Husky into the Nefarious Emperor Clarke who leads an army of cyborg monsters harvested from the homeless and disenfranchised. (Evil Kenneth Clarke is a formidable opponent who could easily grow into a Dr. Destroyer/Doom but with even more intelligence)

Re: Wwycd? #87 Husky will be relieved there's finely somebody he can talk to and since the guy must have figured this stuff out by himself Kenneth will hopefully drop the charade soon. After transforming into Kenneth. Kenneth will drain all of the fanboys memories and replace them with new edited ones taking out all of the secrets. He'll then implant tracking and monitoring equipment in the poor guy and have the clarkebots infilitrate his home and scour for additional evidence while they place him in bed so he can wake up with a lsight headache and no memory of his time in the Fortress of Huskitude (located under the Clarke family basement). Kenneth will then examine all of the man's memories and uncover where he got the wierd information.

Re: WWYCD #86 (I think) Husky and Kenneth aren't going to kill anybody. They'll hunt down the 6 victims and capture them as Husky. As Kenneth he'll either elimimate the "Seeds" or else he'll suspend them time and place them in an alternate dimension so the bad guys can't use them to get "here." He'll refer to the Impossible Hand Kid for advice on the mystical elements of the problem.

Re: Wwycd? #84 Husky would swing in front of the car and let it hit him to stop it. He'll then delight in cartoon style brawling sure they won't actually be hurt. (kenneth may take note of passive reading from Husky's gauntlet's afterwards but otheriwse wouldn't be involved this is Husky's scene baby)

After a difficult battle with a powerful psychic the team leader (or second in command if you're the leader) has been placed in a coma. While in the coma a disturbing discovery is made. The hero was a liar. They are actually a super intelligent child who have given themselves an adult persona and super powers through super science (or sorcery). Despite how long you thought you'd known them they've really only been a hero for the last 4 years. Any history they had before that they've fabricated via powerful mind alteration science (or spells) family members and other people from their "lives" are revealed to be nothing but andriods, synthoids, robots, holograms, illusions, etc. They have singlehandedly executed a massive conspiracy of worldly proportions simply to lend credibility to their "super persona." Regardless of this massive conspiracy the Hero has genuinely acted as you remember for the last 4 years and if you reveal their secret they'll never be able to be the same hero the world has known for all of these years. What do you do?

Re: Wwycd? #82 With the assistance of his faithful robot companion Husky would take off for the satellites immediately after wading through the defenses a quick change into Kenneth (when nobody is looking) and the captured satellite becomes a spaceflight capable weapon platform. The cpatured satellite will be used to destroy the other 4 satellites (assuming other heroes haven't captured them yet). Kenneth will then modify the satellite to make it as effective as the previous 5; modify it to destroy nuclear threats from any source (including the US); and finally make it tamper proof to anyone but him. Then he'll change back into Husky and deliver a rousing speech about how he's made the world a safer place (the kind of speech that stops politicians from denouncing his actions).

Re: WWYCD #81 A True Test of a Hero Husky and Kenneth are 2 extremes aspects of my own personality embued with powers so I'd probably act the same since their powers encourage their diseperate personality traits. I'm not a person motivated by material possesions though so I'd probably play the role of judgemental overconfident unstoppable hero.

Re: WWYCD? #80: Future Hope or Hellspawn? Husky will think "This is great!" and invite the 2 of them to go on patrol. The whole time he'd watch them both amd if either of them attempted to assault the other he'd cuff them on the head. Later after transforming back into Kenneth he'd bust out the Super Science and calculate the probablity of each of their described futures. If niether child reveals themselves to be the tyrant he'd duplicate himself and escort both of them home to see what's really going on.

Husky and The Impossible Hand Kid (a pulp cowboy stylized sorceror) jointly lead the team and they've both been public figures since they were children this doesn't seem likely. If Husky was a member of some other team he'd be shocked but he'd be willing to believe the hero had reformed and trust their judgement about whether they should turn themself in.

Re: What Would Your Character Do? #79 Sneak into the basement and go to the Fortress of Huskitude. If the transformation is still ineffect after taking the Husky Serum Husky will change back into Kenneth and Kenneth will start a battery of tests on himself and the other transformed objects.

Re: What would your character do #74 (or so):Gift of Power? Lock it in the Fortress of Huskitude with a detailed and encrypted file. Husky will be sure it would work and Kenneth will be skeptical but cautious.
