So I have never really tried Hero system before, but fooling around with the mmo made me wonder what the RPG was like.
I have tooled around a bit with M&M, which has it's flaws, but I was wondering how Champions compares.
How is the balance? GM's of M&M in my experience have to keep a tight leash on the players to keep them from taking advantage of various exploits in the system.
What kind of learning curve are we talking about? On a scale of 1 to 10; 1 being easy to pick up and play, and 10 being you need to know what you are doing before attempting to play this game.
Any other comparisons you would like to make would be welcome.
