Re: Cool Guns for your Games Thank you for informing me about the importance of safe gun handling as I had not picked up on that in my past 37 years of handling firearms.Well if you knew the back story of the video then you would know they knew it was a major caliber even if they had no or limited experience with said caliber. Even if that were the case everyone experiences a first time with major caliber firearm if they plan on shooting one. Everyone regardless of stance has almost the same experience with the .577 Tyranosaur which is why it is not a popular round besides its price. There is nothing unsafe about what they were doing. As I'm sure you are aware a bolt action cannot fire again without the bolt being lifted, manipulated to the rear and forward again and the the bolt then being set back into position which is not going to happen with "wild" recoil. Certainly the finish and furniture of the rifle was in danger, that can't be stated enough. Actually it sounds like the boyfriends inexperience with firearms and perhaps she caries a firearm daily. a funny vid is a funny vid.

Ok so looking thru the Champions book it says there is no set points for making characters and that is determined by the GM but is there a " normal or standard" points number that most people use that is known ? And I really think a mystic cat character would be fun. :]

Re: Pulp vs hollow earth ? Lick ? What the heck kind of game are you running there buddy ? lol Seriously, sounds fun ! Was it much work ? I assume when the Hollow Earth Revelations of Mars book finally comes out they will have ray guns. Easier to port from Champions ? ? ?

Re: Pulp vs hollow earth ? Thanks for the replies. I was thinking of using the Hollow Earth stuff in Pulp . I mainly wanted a more detailed weapon /combat system. Hate Hollow Earth in that they have so many sweet era guns [ their sample Big Game Hunter character with a .405 Winchester was the the thing that drew me the H.Earth in the first place ] but such bland stats. Might try porting PULP weapon system to H.E.

Re: Cool Guns for your Games I assume everyone has seen the .577 Tyranosaur before? Makes my laugh everytime I like how in the different shots you can see the door glass got busted at some point.
