This file is used with Hero Designer to print out Combat Record sheets. You don't "open" it as much as use it to output something you can use in play.

My version of that sheet, includes a full page for gear. You just need to add any entry to the Equipment tab.

Thanks for fixing it. It's how I got started making these. Dan's original 5e built in template didn't work in Safari. Because he had used an IE only tag. I cleaned it up, tested it and posted it to the old hero boards.
