  1. Re: Online Spacer's Toolkit Fortunately I don't think anyone (or at least, I didn't) took the misunderstood sarcasm as something meant in spite, rather I took it as a well-intentioned joke. I certainly hope nobody took my sarcasm as spiteful also, I was just going along with the joke. Wait, maybe that was sarcastic. Foiled again!

  4. Re: Online Spacer's Toolkit Touche. I'm very much looking forward to the future of the SHFandom.
  5. Re: Online Spacer's Toolkit That's sweet. But anyways, thanks a great deal Liaden, this helps a lot. Rep! Scratch that, gotta spread some around first. IOU Rep.
  6. Re: What Have You Watched Recently? Watched the first episode of EXO Squad last night on Hulu. Damn I miss shows like that, I'd forgotten how great and, well, suprisingly adult that cartoon was. Just a 90s version of Robotech, which is a high compliment in my eyes. Though the animation could have been handled a bit better.
  7. Whatever happened to the "Spacer's Toolkit" (or whatever it was called, I forget) that was in the free section that had an assortment of technology/ships for Star Hero? Or am I dreaming things up? Sorry to make a thread on something so minor, but can't think of what it was called, so searches are coming up fruitless. And many apologies if I'm just being an idiot and missing the link.
  8. Re: What Have You Watched Recently? Hm, for some reason that makes me want to go watch my copy of Sword of Doom. Love that movie.
  9. Re: Idea/Suggestion: Offline Character Generator I think that is certainly a fantastic idea, and I really hope they do use it. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they did try something similar, especially since they're working in conjunction with the PnP set, I'd be somewhat mystified if they didn't make it in such a way that one could use it to design an RPG character and then print it out. One can only hope.
  10. Re: What Have You Watched Recently? Just watched Justice League: New Frontier yesterday. Hot damn that was fantastic, easily one of (if not the) best super hero movies ever. While I wish it could have been longer (and thus kept more from the trade in), for being only 70ish minutes, they did a phenomenal job. Huge fan of Eureka, extremely well done. Glad you're enjoying it.
  11. Re: What Have You Watched Recently? In the middle of watching the first season of Boston Legal with the girlfriend, finally. We've watched the show off and on for the past two seasons, but we never DVR'd it because we kept vowing to just get the dvd's and watch them in order, but that never happened. Man, I do love this show though. Denny Krane is my hero.
  12. Re: What Have You Watched Recently? Finished watching Season 3 of Veronica Mars a few days ago. Sigh... why'd they have to cancel it? And fast-forwarding it to her in the FBI would've been awesome, the mini-pilot was pretty well done. Been watching Lost Season 3 on Blu-Ray, which is simply amazing. I mean... wow. And I was surprised by how much I'm enjoying the story now, I had tried watching S3 on tv but got bored immediately. Can't wait to finish the last two eps.
  13. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Yes, yes it is. Though I may be biased, I just finished listening to Zero-G Love from the Macross DYRL OST. Currently I'm listening to Epilogue: Due Vendetta by the Protomen
  14. Re: 3D Star mapping software Just out of curiosity, and I'm sure the answer is no, but I'll ask anyways. Any chance that you'll actually input all the planets that are listed in the TE galaxy map, or are you just going for a program to be used for generic Star Hero games? I only ask cause I've been working on creating the entire TE galaxy in a similar program, and recently lost a lot of work I had put into it, and as such have become incredibly lazy. Either way, awesome stuff. Rep!
  15. Re: What Have You Watched Recently? Isn't that the same guy who played the Silver Surfer in FF2? Or am I getting people mixed up? Anyways, he/they are truly fantastic actors.
  16. Re: What Have You Watched Recently? 3:10 to Yuma on Blu-ray again, this time with my sister and mother. They absolutely loved it. Damn good movie.
  17. Re: What Have You Watched Recently? Awesome, I can't wait to see it. As a huge fan of underdog videogame themed movies of the 80s like the Last Starfighter and the Wizard, I'm sure this is right up my alley.
  18. Re: What Have You Watched Recently? My favorite movie of the year, I think, or maybe tied with No Country for Old Men. Damn good stuff. It really was something I didn't expect, but that turned out to be a very good thing for me. I loved the fact that the rancher was nothing more than that, a rancher that got his leg blown off while on guard duty in the Civil War. Nothing heroic, just some guy that's a pretty good shot. What I was most pleasantly surprised by was the fact that the kid, which I groaned every time he would whine about being old enough to go shoot the bad guys, actually became a likeable character. For one of the first time's I can remember in a movie, the annoying brat that sneaks out in the night to take on more than he can chew doesn't just end up getting kidnapped and being more trouble than he's worth. Fantastic movie, bought it on Blu-Ray, can't wait to watch it once more. Not to mention Wash was pretty great in it.
  19. Re: What Have You Watched Recently? I'm the same exact way, didn't really want to see it in theaters, but then started cracking up bout 30 minutes in and loving it. Brad Bird knows his stuff though. Just finished watching the... 17th episode of Twin Peaks, just started the episode that is apparently guest starring David Duchovny. Should be good.
  20. Re: ST: How Not To Do Homages (Trivia) Hey, I liked Enterprise! Or rather, that episode that started out with the guy from First Contact who invented the hyperdrive pulling a shotgun on the first Vulcans to make contact with Earth. Awesome.
  21. Re: How we taught the Internet to dream Very cool. And very interesting to hear things that sound familiar (I remember hearing about Freebase a couple of months ago, but not in such a great light) talked about in such a way. Repworthy indeed.
  22. Re: Star System Generation (Now at the RIGHT place :/) Unfortunately, I completely lack any skill as to deciphering the scripts you've posted, but, from reading your description, this sounds like it'd be extremely useful. Bravo, I'll continue checking back to see how this turns out. And while I'm sure I'm not the first to welcome you to the boards (people 'round here tend to be rather on the ball with the friend-making), I'll go ahead and extend a big welcome anyways. So yeah, welcome!
