  6. From our friends at Tiger's Eye Media: "First, I would like to say thank you for all your support. It's been a good year here at Tiger Paw Press thanks to you. This year we released new titles in the S.I.D.s report, Wondrous Treasures and Monster Mash lines. We added to the Grimiore Arcana series, Technomany spell list and released a Psionic Compendium. Some of this was on the release schedule some of it was added as the year went on. "Well, now Christmas is almost upon us and that means that 2018 is just around the corner. So I think it's time for TPP to decide exactly what will be released in 2018. I've been giving it some thought and have decided a couple things. "First, a release schedule isn't really an accurate indication of what will be released in 2018. To many times this year things were moved, bumped and in some cases removed titles. Second, a set release period, even by quarters, doesn't work out well either. This is due to the before mentioned reasons and a pesky thing called life. So instead I have decided to make a small list of produces that I plan on finishing and releasing in 2018. S.I.D.s Report & S.I.D.s Bulletin There will be new titles in this series in 2018, two such titles will be S.I.D.s report - Denier & Company & S.I.D.s Bulletin - Black Spyder Wondrous Treasures New titles in this line will be released. Wondrous Treasures - Bows & Wondrous Treasures - Arrows are in different stages at this time. Monster Mash Continuation of this line will include Monster Mash - Occulord-kin II & Monster Mash - Krylons is planned. Villainy Codex III Villainy Codex III will be released in 2018. This book is planned to reintroduce an some "friends" while introducing some new "anything but friends". Technomancy Complete This product will be a compilation of the two Technomancy spell list combined into one organized and bookmarked PDF
  7. You can get physical copies of the 6E1 & 6E2 print-on-demand from One Book Shelf (DriveThruRPG, RPGNow, etc). In fact, we set that up specifically for fans like yourself Jerrod!
  8. No - though they are all available through One Books Shelf (RPGNow, DriveThruRPG, etc etc) in the form of print-on-demand. So you *can* get physical copies if you need them. Hero Games is more interested in doing shorter, rules-inclusive books like Champions Complete and Fantasy Hero Complete these days, and also supporting our small but productive community of third party publishers. In fact, we will have some news on that front to announce shortly!
  9. Over at the High Rock Press Blog, Jason talks about the year in review (including the publication of two Hero System books), as well as his plans for 2018, which will include at least two more Hero System products.

  12. Ghosts, Ghouls, and Golems is a roleplaying game guide to those darkness-dwelling creatures of folklore and myth for Hero System. 13. Ever since Spider-Man showed up on the superhero scene, characters with insect or insect-like powers have been popular. That popularity has carried over into Champions, and even into other genres (such as priests and sorcerers who worship strange insect gods in a Fantasy setting). This work includes a selection of Insect Powers for use in your HERO System campaigns.
  14. There have been some questions lately about what relationship Hero Games has with Heroic Comics, both historically and in terms of their current projects. The simple answer to the later question is that DOJ Inc, the current owners of the Hero Games intellectual property, has never entered into an agreement with Heroic Comics, aren't currently working on any projects with them, have no active communication with them, and share no properties in common with them. In short, we have no relationship. Historically speaking, back in 1987 (when I was a senior in High School and Steve Long was just entering law school), Hero Games signed an agreement with Heroic Comics to publish a Champions comic book using certain specific characters from (I think) the third edition Champions Universe. These characters they do have the rights to: which is why they were not as I understand it in the forth edition or subsequent versions of the Champions Universe. We hope this clears up any misunderstandings that may have arisen. Jason Walters, Publisher
  15. Have you checked out the Chimpions: The Hero System RPG Podcast? It's a well-produced mix of Champions role playing and combat. Have a listen!
  16. What is Gun Fu? Simply put, Gun Fu is the art of the gun — the ability to use firearms with sublime grace and deadly skill in combat. A practitioner of Gun Fu is typically known as a gunman, or if he’s considered a master of the style, a shootist. This 25 page Hero System supplement by famed Dark Champions author Steve Long contains all the Abilities, Charts, and information you will need to make your characters a master of the firing arts!
  17. It is with great sadness that I tell you my friend and associate Michael Satran, known on the Hero Forums as Balabanto, passed away on the evening of October 28, 2017. Michael was a Hero System superfan, and the author of numerous zany supplements and settings for the Champions roleplaying game, including Journey to the Center of the Earth, King of the Mountain, War of Worldcraft, and Foxbat for President. He also tackled more serious and darker subjects in works such as Imaginary Friends, Unkindness, and Pretty Hate Machines. Though it is not widely known, for years Michael volunteered to help with the Indie Press Revolution booth at GenCon, stalwartly assisting us in the not-very-glamorous business of setting up, tearing down, inventorying products, helping with the marshaling yard, and generally doing what he could to help the RPG small press. He was a sincere, generous, and kind man, always eager to help a friend in need. I will miss him greatly. Amicus Aeternum Vale. - Jason Walters, Publisher

  20. Forty pages of characters, setting information, notes, and adventures that didn’t make it into the pages of Darren Watts’s Golden Age Champions. Darren has been taking copious notes over twenty years of running Golden Age Champions campaigns with dozens of players, and on opposite ends of the country (San Francisco and New York, respectively). These additional notes were simply too large to fit into a single volume, with GAC itself coming in at over 300 pages! Thus we present you with a variety of material dépareillés we would have liked to have completed and included, but could not. Together it forms an excellent snapshot of a Golden Age Champions campaign as a work-in-progress. In some cases, such as the description of the demonic villain Mardoom-Thah or the music of the 1940’s, there are merely notes or incomplete sketches; but it’s still a wealth of valuable and interesting information! The contents breaks down into three sections: The Justice Squadron, 1940’s American Society and Culture, and Mini Campaign. For the latter section (a two-part mini campaign) At the Top of the World is nearly complete, while Attack of the Aesir remains a brief (but useful) outline. Enjoy! And remember: they weren’t called the greatest generation for ‘nuthin!
