  1. Absorption is based on amount of damage pre armor for the bonus, Aid w/ trigger it is a flat bonus.
  2. the rules do have problem. A lot of that has to do with density and not mass for stuff in water. but do you want to spend the time to find the density of all your gear?
  3. You could use a few more limitations for 19 cps Aid 3d6, Reduced Endurance (0 END; +1/2), Trigger (Activating the Trigger is an Action that takes no time, Trigger resets automatically, immediately after it activates, Character does not control activation of personal Trigger; activates every time character takes Body damage; +3/4), Expanded Effect (x3 Characteristics or Powers simultaneously) (affects both END and Stun and Body; +1) (58 Active Points); Only to Aid Self (-1), Limited Power Power loses about half of its effectiveness (only if Body damage is taken; -1) or for 22 cps Aid 4d6, Reduced Endurance (0 END; +1/2), Trigger (Activating the Trigger is an Action that takes no time, Trigger resets automatically, immediately after it activates, Character does not control activation of personal Trigger; activates every time character takes Body damage; +3/4), Expanded Effect (x3 Characteristics or Powers simultaneously) (affects END, Stun, and Body; +1) (78 Active Points); Limited Power Power loses about two-thirds of its effectiveness (only if Body damage is taken; -1 1/2), Only to Aid Self (-1) I'm not sure on the level of 'only if Body damage is taken'
  4. Some types of settings that are psi heavy cinematic may have something like Mind Blade: Killing Attack - Hand-To-Hand 1d6 (1d6+1 w/STR), Alternate Combat Value (uses OMCV against DCV; +0), Custom Modifier (use EGO for STR; +1/4), Attack Versus Alternate Defense (Resistant Mental Defense; +1), Does BODY (+1) (49 Active Points); Restrainable (-1/2), Perceivable (-1/4)
  5. The Squeezebox polka of DOOM!: Killing Attack - Ranged 3d6, Area Of Effect Nonselective (64m Cone Explosion; +1/4), Penetrating (+1/2), Reduced Endurance (0 END; +1/2) (101 Active Points); OAF Bulky (Accordion; -1 1/2), Restrainable (-1/2), No Range (-1/2), Concentration (1/2 DCV; -1/4), Extra Time (Full Phase, Only to Activate, -1/4), Incantations (-1/4), Requires A Roll (Skill roll, -1 per 20 Active Points modifier; casting; -1/4)
  6. weird limitation on the spells could be fun too. the 'yes I can teleport all of us, but I need a ear of corn, a banjo and three black mice... wait is the moon a full moon... and each of you are going also need an empty wine bottle but no need for the banjo unless we are teleporting north of here. Ok now here are the dance steps'
  7. Swashbuckler? Luck, lots of luck and some unluck too. just to make things fun
  8. Multiform (500 Character Points in the most expensive form) (x2 Number Of Forms) (105 Active Points); Extra Time (Full Phase, -1/2) may cost 70 points out of the points of a 400 hero but only the true form pays the points so if you never use the true form but use the other two forms for play cost is not a problem... now when the GM wakes up and sees that you have a 500 point hero in a 400 point game...
  9. try a multipower that is the same size as the two pools that you are trying to build and limit the 2nd set of slots to only when shapeshife is active. thou you can't save on the cost of the multipower this way, just the cost of the slots I would go with a multiform... And for +5 points x2 the number of forms too.
  10. I'd go with one strongly grouped team, 1-2 duo (or maybe a trio for one of the duo), solos for the rest. A get together mix and match hero team from the any heroes in area could work too.
  11. ARGENT may have a department for the identifiable, weird, and un-classifiable stuff. The fighting over trying to to research what the loot is and move it before the stuff kills you may be epic. LOL Most people would not want to be in the department.
  12. Yes, the Android would be a normal character with bot type powers (LS and stuff) and maybe a mind link with the ship's AI
  13. Green salsa is not always milder then red salsa. Hatch, jalapeno, and Serrano chiles make a good mix.
  14. Stratochelys is a Stegochelys that can fly using its shell as a spinning flying disc. Moving from ground movement to powered flight takes time. The cyber-bot's big tank like weapon system cant be used in flight, good thing it's heavy armored and has a set lighter weapons. The stratochelys is a mid weight blaster/tank.
  15. Raymond 'Ray' Gunn: the great grandson of Pops and the grandson of the mad scientist's daughter. Uses his plasma super power to power his mad science ray-guns. without his guns his powers would only give him a Hand-To-Hand Attack with Inaccurate and Reduced Penetration
  16. so guns would have ether: Delayed Effect with Extra Time or Clips of 1 Charge with Increased Reloading Time?
  17. Homunculus: Follower (30 Active Points); Extra Time (1 Hour, Only to Activate, Character May Take No Other Actions, -1 3/4), Gestures (Requires both hands; -1/2), Incantations (-1/4), 1 Continuing Charge lasting 1 Week (-0) this should get you a homunculus for one week at a time. Now all you need is to build a150 base point homunculus.
  18. Drop Combat Luck Add Boxing: PS 11- (2p) Damage Negation (-2 DCs Physical) (10 Active Points); Limited Power Power loses about half of its effectiveness (vs hand-to-hand attacks; -1), Nonpersistent (-1/4) or Resistant Protection (6 PD) (9 Active Points); Limited Power Power loses about half of its effectiveness (vs hand-to-hand attacks; -1), Nonpersistent (-1/4) for 4p
  19. Hmm, is the combat luck a holdover from Magnus O'Sullivan's prizefighting boxing days?
  20. slowing the victim sounds like a SPD drain/suppress
  21. maybe this would work. Killing Attack - Hand-To-Hand 1d6, Damage Over Time, Target's defenses only apply once (4 damage increments, damage occurs every three Segments, +3 1/2) (67 Active Points); Limited Power Power loses about half of its effectiveness (claw must do body; -1), Linked (Claw; Lesser Power can only be used when character uses greater Power at full value; -1/2)
  22. Now why keep the bear at 130 points? and high level druids of the circle of the moon get elemental wild shape too... some of the players in past groups where min/maxers and there is a fine line from keeping up with the other PCs and being a bit OP.
  23. Also remember you can get 2x the forms for 5 points and 1 point gives non-base form 5 points. this is all of the added forms too, so if you have 4 added forms one point and each of them gets the 5 points this can mean the PC can soon have a form for any type of fight.
