  2. Okay so I have a player who wants to do teleportation and desolidification with mirrors and shadows. Also if she is desolidified in a reflective object and it is destroyed she wants to reappear at random. I figured out the teleport stuff the only thing I can't figure is the limitation and the random reappearing thing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  4. I am attempting to figure something out. First my apologies if this is in the wrong place. I am designing a mecha (Anime) type character for a superhero game. Not a big thing. Where I am stuck is her mecha can get more powerful the more into combat she gets. I have thought of a couple ways to do this: Extra points in a power limited by her "excitement" level Aid overall only useable in that circumstance I have an idea on how her getting into combat limitation would be specified after X number of rounds... So any ideas on how to do the power boost would be greatly appreciated. Plus I am using Robot Warriors to stat the mech. Thanks for any help.
  5. Fantasy Hero Grimoire II. I run a sudo war mage campaign and found the information on war magic in the 2nd school of the book very useful as is or as a guideline for building similar spells. The rest of the book has a lot of useful spells for almost any type of fantasy campaign, but I never really used them.

  7. I recently had a player who wants to use aid as a massive area effect spell, but my question is this.. Does Aid grant the number rolled to the stat or is that divided/multipled by the stat mod? Ie normal for str, divided by 3 for dex, divided by 2 for con, multiplied by 2 for end and etc?
  8. Didn't Ancient Greece by ICE sort of cover this? I know it is pre- 6th but the information could still be helpful in determining a god's baseline if that is what you really want to do.

  10. Okay, first of all hi. I would like to add my input on a couple of things here. First, I love hero system. I play it with the character creation book, the combat book and gadgets and gear all 5th. That is all I have ever felt I needed. My group has a great time and we play in whatever setting we chose. The system is well designed and very flexible which we all appreciate. Yes it does take time to make characters and other things, but it is a fun time and once you get the hang of it, not quite that bad. Since the group has previous champions experience it might help as well. Now lets talk about GURPS : GURPS used to be my game of choice years ago, but then 4th edition came out and I was like what?! Third edition was a well supported product with 200+ sourcebooks. What annoyed me about GURPS at the end was everything had to be detailed. (EX Social Stigma : Dead for zombies), They also put out a supers book which while written okay was not (IMO) the best superhero system ever devised. Just a little blurb on my thoughts. Near as I can figure my group plays basic hero and have never had an issue or a problem with it,
