In the hero discord a discussion has come up about if a character has multiple powers that apply the same type of defense (For example, a force field that provides PD and normal PD) and only one of them has the Impenetrable advantage how does this apply overall. For some reason I remember discussion and/or a rules clarification about this but could not find anything. If someone could help direct me to an old post addressing this it would be appreciated

you might want to make those penalties size based. So a Mech would take a DCV bonus against peoples attacks, but have their normal DCV against other Mechs

That's true for 4th and 5th editions. In 6th edition it's an optional rule. The 4d6 HKA could be a carry over from the older editions

as Doc said by RAW yes, but there's an optional roll in one of the Advanced Player's Guides that if Desolidification gives no protection from attacks then you don't have to buy the affect solid advantage
