Let us review your situation. You got a 22 out of 100 on the first exam, but were unaware of that for most of a month because you never come to class and never picked it up. In fact, you learned of it from your advisor after I used the academic alert system telling her you were failing the course and should drop it before last Friday's deadline; you declined to do this because you'd lose your scholarship if you did. You have turned in exactly one assignment on time, the trivial one the first week of class. You skipped the second exam, made an appointment to take a make-up right after class yesterday, which you unilaterally canceled by email, sent halfway through that class (which, of course, you skipped). You have completely blown off the major writing assignment in the course by abject refusal to submit anything. You have declined to turn in the lab work, which is essential in the course as well. And now you subject me to your fantasy that you'll do well on the final and pass the course. Tell you what: don't bother me any more and I'll give you your F without any further aggravation on my part. Otherwise, you will have no grasp on how much I am going to enjoy watching you die.

Don't think it would survive shipping very well, but check out the book "Flour, Water, Salt, Yeast".  It's pretty much what I use and it's easy.
 
And I don't want to open a bakery cause that usually entails waking up early.    I don't think I'll be doing more than a dozen loafs per week.

Sold my first couple loafs of bread today.  Complete side business by accident, but mainly because we don't have a real bakery in town.

My mother was up in London and so off we went a gallavanting, a gallavanting Ho !
Test drove a wheelchair at the Spirit of Christmas Fair and got a whole load of things. A game for a friend's birthday present, cheeses, my cousin's Christmas present, an apple spirit, a game based on wine, port and a ginger liqueur.
Off to Harrods to get Turkish Delight and happened on a Champagne tasting so made sure my mother had some, especially the vintage Tattinger.
Managed to get tickets to Jeeves and Wooster Perfect Nonsense on the dayb and took mum to the matinee. Matthew MacFadyen and Stephen Mangan played the parts respectively. The play is based on the third book and has three actors playing all the parts/ Funnny. It made my mother laugh. Off afterwards to have diner at the Nightingale Cafe before back to the hotel.
Sunday we went to see my cousin and family in Kent. Mum dropped off Christmas presents. Getting there was a problem but we made it. It was Remembrance Sunday and traffic was bad and also no trains from Victoria which was a pain.
We saw a relation in Camden town on Monday before going to Odette's restaurant and having the taster menu which was my idea. Wonderful. Two starters, two mains, a cheese course and two desserts each plus wine. Gorgeous.
Got mother back to the train on Tuesday and saw her off. Job well done. She had to suffer the photoes of Spain but that is what it is all about.

My Karate Test

For those who are interested:
 
This test was unlike any other I've ever had. Usually for tests, they set up a table and chairs for the Senseis and you simply demonstrate your stuff once or however many times are required.
This test was combined with a class, so I had to hustle and go for a full hour and fifteen minutes. And I had had a strenuous class the night before. I usually step out and take a breather when I need to, but last night I could not do that.
If you think your character can use Stun for End and then simply strut away, or go on to fight another battle, you are Pulm-Jack Crazy !
I'm in the few days recovery category, not just one or two turns.
I stumbled once. I had prepared Heian 5 for the test and was tested on Heian 4. Also had to do The Beginner Kata and 1-3. Then there were the punches, kicks and combinations. Like I said, there was no real rest for an hour and fifteen minutes. Just one for a few minutes as Sensei explained something and Boy did I need it.
The Result ?
A Kyu and a half to 5 Kyu. Highest marks. I am now Purple Belt and two tests away from Brown Belt.
Whew !
I am SO glad that's over.
I hung my certificate on the fridge, but not for long, as I don't want any spills on it.
And that , Teacher, is my report.
