For a moment, he was in pastels.. but I deepened the blue because it just didn't sit on the pencils the way I wanted.
 
A commission piece from one of my own players for his own character. She is a dragon who takes elven form and is a weather witch... that is a lot of concepts to jam into one image... but I think I might have worked it out okay.

Sooo, they aih't supers. I wanted to show them off anyhow.
 
A couple of fantasy pics. First is a private commission for mr. potatohed's brother... a fantasy paladin with serious overatures to Roman centurion trappings. I particularly liked the idea that the clients had come up with of the "phantom" sword, The idea of it being broken in the character's history, but then taking on an eldritch life of its own (and hence, still useable) is just kinda cool.
 

 
Then, a doodle for my own campaign, the Realms. This is Toris Bel. A character of R.'s, but hasn't been used for a long time, getting dusted off and off to have adventures in Waterdeep. Since it is a drug indictment story are, we are jokingly calling it Waterdeep Vice.

Hehehe...who would ever buy that concept now that the cosmopharmocologic distance is so last week (pretending to get it, so that you won't know I'm dumb).
 
Funny how in-group knowledge can result in humor that only the geeks in question can understand. (As gamers, I'm sure we've all encountered this. That's why in many ways being a gamer encourages closeting oneself in a way that is socially analogous to being gay in the bible belt.)
 
Here's my science geek joke experience:
 
During my freshman 'Chemistry for Science Majors' course at the U of Hawaii, we had been recently going over EM wavelength and frequency, fundamentally expressed (if memory serves) as 'C= (lambda)(nu).' The professor walked in and, as he did every day, asked the class casually, "What's new?"
 
"C over lambda," popped out of my mouth reflexively.
 
He looked at me over the class, gave a big sigh, and said, "I've been waiting 10 years for somebody to do that." The class erupted in laughter.
 
Oh, hilarity!!! When I related the story to my friends (who are decidedly uninterested in any science that doesn't involve 'warp drive' or 'the Force'), they were not amused. Their expressions made me feel quite lonely, indeed. (Check your own now!)

You may want to stay clear of adding me should a replacement be needed. I would probably through your data way off. I usually only get repped about once every couple weeks, but it is usually the big reppers that do it, so I make huge leaps when it happens. Although it might be an interesting paradyme...

Here is a character of a good friend of mine. This is M's Pc in my Realms game. The character is one who knows a lot of people, positioned close to the throne of the Emporer of the South and has a knack at being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
 
The visual was slightly based on a Reaper minature.

My daughter is 9 today. I'm skipping out of work early as the extended family gathers to carpet-bomb her, the only granddaughter on either side of the family, with presents.

I forgot how much I loved having a dog. After only 2 days with my new Rott I can't imagine ever going for so long (6 years) without one again.
