  1. When the hell did Warren get a Bastard Sword!?
  2. Being someone that has ran several long running and successful campaigns I have to say that although I love the system it can be a chore to run a game with multiple players. The character creation is also very flexible and creative but it can be intimidating to players concerning how to make a character. Many people that are used to more limited systems like D&D as well as others will actually prefer the limitations because they are at least easier to grasp and make characters with. It's also easier on the GM to run a game that is more rules light. I ran a teen Champions game to quite awhile but when I ended it I picked up Castles and Crusades, a rules light D&D type and it was more relaxing. Still, I will run a Hero System game again but only if the other players RTFM so I don't end up doing all the work. That was one of the reasons I quit running the game after some time.
  3. I have been tracking down the Introduction of Hero adventure The Metallosphere Project. Would you have that by any chance?

  5. There was a Punisher parody in the Tick cartoon named Big Shot.
  6. Minuteman, The Ant, and my favorite Man-Bot. The first four superheroes in the game are Mentor, Minuteman, El Diablo and Man-Bot.
  7. This was in the Freedom Force computer game. Freedom Force was a RTS game with the premise that people got superpowers due to an element called Energy X. At the end of the second game it's revealed that Energy X is an actual person named Energy X.
  8. The one thing about Killgrave is that he needs to tell someone what to do and they have to understand him.
  9. He was a little crazy. The White Event happened when he was pumped up full of psycho-active drugs.
  10. Well, one of the complaints about the Champions universe is that there are many really uber powerful villains, but all of the heroes are of relatively lower power in comparison. It's a wonder that they haven't taken over the world yet.
  11. I want it to be my go to system and for a while it was, but I got tired of it after a while because I ended up doing all the work. Nowadays I find myself preferring BASH because it's similar to Champions but a lot easie to play and run.
  12. 1. What is YATRO? 2. Good advice, I found that nobody really cares about how detailed a game world is. One of the reasons that I prefer modern day game is because you don't have to worry about explaining a lot of stuff. 3. Were you using a phone, because there are a lot of typos? He appears in Enemies United for 4th edition.
  13. Hey, I am running Rescue at Karadonna at Midwinter Con next year and if I could find a character pack for Alien Wars it would make things easier. So, does anyone one knows if there is a character pack? I didn't see it in the store.
  14. He is in the Big Blue Book. I think he is almost at the end of the villain section.
  15. Scrawled on the sword are the words in an ancient tongue, "Please return to E of Melnibone".
  16. Grimsteel - Character Sheet.pdf
  17. How do you post these sheets?
  18. So, I just bought Champions Presents on the online store and I found that there some pages missing at the end of the last adventure Menace out of Time. Can we get this fixed? Tim
  19. I ran a GAC game some time ago, my copy is dog eared.
