  1. Ada is a computer. She copied the Darkhold to memory as she read it.
  2. I guess this settles the good or evil question.
  3. Why would an entangle affect KB normally? An entangle doesn't function differently from PD/ED in terms of defenses and they have no effect on KB. You can be Knocked into the next county without taking damage
  4. Another option would be to create an Advantage for Entangle. Let's call it Anchored, price it at +1/4 or +1/2 and use the UAA Clinging for the effects and the target numbers to move the target. That way, a flyer could be anchored to a point in the air.
  5. Hmmm, a challenge! I considered Sticky, but it doesn't work for the problem presented, The first person to touch the entangled target is stuck but a second person can pick up the first by RAW and move both as long as he avoids the original target. It also doesn't handle many SFX of Flight. A linked Clinging UAA should work against everything but certain SFX of Flight also. It also increase the difficulty of being moved by KB if the target is touching a surface.
  6. I know it was necessary for saving the team but .....there are so many ways this will go so wrong.
  7. That last was a reply to Ranerox not a comment on the writers. Though I think kidnapping the show writers and making them play RPG's during the off season would greatly improve the shows.
  8. She has used her super-speed on several occasions, she has shown she is capable of deflecting bullets and rays with her heat vision and only one person had a weapon drawn. Stupidity in the cause of plot advancement is still stupidity. And the giving up powers to prevent violence to a hostage trope is really getting old especially against the ruthless murderers that the CW churns out as villains. And in Champions terms, multiple move-byes are pretty effective against normals, especially when you can run fast enough to footrace the Flash.
  9. Arrghh, of all the stupid!!!! I guessing a Flash showwriter was responsible for this! Don't put on the helmet, use your superspeed and knock them all unconsious before they can see you move.
  10. In the interest of simplicity, I would have the beginner game only use Adjustment Powers vs Characteristics. Save the other Adjustments for the Advanced Game. That way we can avoid the debates about SFX and Adjustment powers until GM's and players are better versed in the system.
  11. While I agree with the consensus on this being worth only 3 points or so, Hero definitely has rules for Addiction. It's part of Dependence on CC page 125.
  12. Ninja Hero has an adventure and the Martial Arts rules.
  13. Does the BODY gained from an AID increase the negative BODY threshold of death? Example: Cyber takes a combat drug that raises his Body from 15 to 20 with effects lasting one hour or more. He then takes damage knocking him to negative 16 Body, Is he dead or can he be stabilized and healed before he bleeds to negative 21?
  14. In respect to long distance travel, it's there to allow for super high speeds out of combat using the 5 point adder. (Megascale is relatively recent, coming in in 5th) The distinction is there for combat/noncombat because velocity based CV is an optional rule Your combat speed is assumed to be the fastest you can move and have the body control to attack at full OCV. Any faster and you'd be too concerned with movement to fight effectively.
  15. Isn't there a Long Lasting advantage in one of the APG's to cover this? As I remember it keeps the breakout rolls from becoming easier with time. Alternatively, I"d allow a Mental Transform at varying thresholds. Cosmetic equaling +0 Mind Control, Minor , +10, Major, +20 and Severe. +30 and above.
  16. Hmm, two options here. Rewrite the rules for the Constant Powers, Charges and AOE to prevent this. Maybe you can do this and streamline the rules, but I'll let you handle that. or Recognize that the extra 20 points he put into SPD gives him some advantages.(the blueprints are irrelevant as they are part of SFX and not mechanics).
  17. Good episode. I liked that they made use of all their resources.
  18. Like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four?
  19. It looks legal but OP at first glance but that's only a best case scenario. In addition to what Tiger has added there is an additional -2 to hit against the secondary target(just like Move-By). Any miss in the attack sequence causes all the remaining attacks to miss.(so that attack roll needs to be really low). To hit 2 targets 3 times each would require you to beat the first's DCV by 8 and the second's by 10. If the character has the OCV to do this consistently. then yeah it's OP. Somehow I doubt he slipped a 20+ OCV by you though. Also this power costs 21 END to use one-handed and 42 for two even if misses completely. I'd allow it(with some question about the AP) but I'd be prepared to let him change it later. I don't think it works the way he thinks it does
  20. Well we're two episodes in and the plot appears to be picking up Not sure I like the new director but I could respect him after his scene with Coulson. Fairly sure I'll hate Fitz's role in the LMD plot. That trope is too tired. Love the emphasis on more supers.
  21. Watched the season opener last night. It was pretty good with a couple of nits. Put some facilities in those cells, Work on end of fight strategies. Otherwise a good setup for the new season.
  22. That's even worse. If they keep the powers without the threat of exploding you've got an assemby line that the military will be all over. Even if they lose them after the regeneration, people will risk death rather than live mutilated.
