  1. Re: The Truly Evil GM Recently I moved back to my friends where we had to take a 3 year Champions break on gaming because I wasn't around, they just didn't like gaming Champions without me apparently. Anyways, while I was gone for 3 years I wrote a PLETHURA of stories to subject them to. I won't write the 4 really fun dastardly ones I have planned as one of my players reads these boards, but this is the introduction I had them go through. They had to make 150 point regular human characters, ZERO powers. They were allowed to tell me what power styles they wanted and I would create it for them. For example, one was a "robin hood" thief that was good with dogs, another was a CSI type of medical examiner that wanted to be a brick of some type. The third wanted an Ice blaster. So here is where my fun began, one took wealth and contacts of family and a rich apartment and all. The CSI character took a few contacts and favours, and a hunted by the Mob. The third was just a beat cop so I don't get to mess him up too much unfortunately. The players wake up in a 10x10 steel cell, wearing only a tanktop and a pair of shorts. Individual locations - I had to play each person's introduction seperately for this. They are in a base or oil derrick with an IV in their arm and a tough steel door. No knowledge of what powers they do have as I haven't given to them yet. Characters aren't even supposed to know they are mutants. 5 mutants per base, everyone gets eventually and now they have to escape from the base (as the base is on fire or sinking into the ocean). Once out in the real world (with possibly figuring out some of their powers as they escape because of fighting with guards) They try to call contacts or friends for help. No one knows them. One goes to the police, he doesn't exist, no fingerprints, no employement, NOTHING. All memories are completely faked, they in effect never existed - and now they have to figure out how to live. Food? Shelter? Employement? Identification? How would you exist if you had none of these? The fun part was watching them as they wrote in powers that they were just finding out spur of them moment, An animal multiform (to eventually be able to upgrade to a power pool to become any animal she can think of ) and a Force Field that allowed for kinetic manipulation - he loves double knockback. The third guy who hasn't played yet will be able to form balls of ice to hover around him that shoots things out. The problem is that they have the feedback disadvantage. (REALLY looking forward to the time when he pulls out two or more while a brick throws a car onto his hex. 3x stun = little man peeing pants... Name calling was spewed forth frequently at me by the players. GMs Rule!
