Alright, I decided to watch The Flash because it was free. The first half-hour was excruciating. Not only do I hate hate HATE Miller's Barry Allen, but the script was just flat out bad and wouldn't have worked for any actor. (Barry Allen is awkward... get it??)
 
Once it got to the actual plot, it settled down a bit and became watchable. As most have said, Keaton was the highlight. Some of the visual FX were quite interesting. There were some neat ideas deep down and in the hands of a better director/studio this could have set a new bar.
 
As it is, I give it a C overall. Not as bad as I feared, but the first part was far worse than I imagined.

Tom finally decided to tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend.
 
One evening, after the honeymoon, he was cleaning one of his hot rods for an upcoming show.
 
His wife was standing there at the bench watching him.
 
After a long period of silence, she finally speaks.
 
“Honey, I’ve just been thinking, now that we are married maybe it’s time you quit spending all your time out here in the garage and you probably should just consider selling all your cars.”
 
Tom gets this horrified look on his face.
 
She says, “Darling, what’s wrong?”
 
“There for a minute, you were starting to sound like my ex-wife.”
 
“Ex-wife!”, she screams, “You never told me you were married before!”
 
Tom’s reply:
 
“I wasn’t”.

Soda always tastes better from a glass bottle.
 
It's uncanny.

For the first time in my 15-year teaching career, we had a lockdown (not a drill) at my school. From what I've heard, they took one kid out in cuffs and are now searching at least some of the other classrooms in the building with dogs.
 
I've been in the school's lecture hall with two other teachers and ~75 students for about an hour and a half. No word yet on how much longer we're going to be holed up together. 
 
Edit: They just lifted the lockdown. All is clear.
