  1. The problem will transporting Sanctuary from 3ed to 6ed is that the Island of Doctor Destroyer which became Sanctuary existed, but is definitely totally sunk. So the island can't be the new home for Sanctuary. But that doesn't mean that Destroyer or someone else couldn't build another artificial island and gift it to whoever ran it before in 4ed.
  2. It could be possible that a First Canadian Nation tribe's 'reservation' or 'tribal land' had a prison of an extra dimensional being on it, trapping a horrific being from escaping from it. Another idea is a secret city which separated itself from Canada/Quebec (depending on where it is located) via a dimensional displacement device created by a Victorian mad scientist. This has turned the city into a version of Brigadoon, where the citizens live in a "Victorian Punk" life compared to everyone else, and that the city won't reappear for another 25 years in this dimension.
  3. Darn boxes which don't go away. Anyways, people pick up these books not for ways to create characters, but for new characters. GM's as a habit, don't actually NEED shared origins for there characters. Only some new and cool characters. And we all know you can create all sorts of cool characters, both good and bad, Deen. Maybe put all of them into a collection volume and see if that sells better?
  4. Only if you pay points for it. The special effect of powers can be just as easily be, "I was taught how to...". Agreed. If a player can justify it and it fits the character concept, then yes they can buy a 20 point VVP (actually a 30 point VVP before Power Advantages and Power Limitations affect it). Try not to abuse it too much folks.
  5. I would give her a low cost VVP, Only Changable Between Adventures. I would allow her not to define it till she decides to use it the first time in an adventure.
  6. Nice. Later stories add another "weapon", the Sting (basically a portable laser gun he rairly uses when he needs to break things which are not living). Note: it might be more of a sonic cannon in a shape of a wand shape gun. In any case he NEVER uses it against any living being. Or at least directly.
  7. I believe I mentioned Lady Buckskin. She technically doesn't have any powers beyond being taught to "injun wrestle" and has some skill with the gun. Also being a school teacher in her civilian identity gives her various knowledge she can use to, well, do things (you'll be surprised how often knowing that if you add a little bit of Chemical 7 in water creates a temporary fog cloud, or a certain resin from a tree down yonder car create a sticky substance which can come in mighty handy).
  8. Intresting. I would probably allow the purchase of normal equipment without paying points for. So heroes don't have to worry about buying their guns and knives with character points. But if you want to do special things with them ("unlimited ammo" for example) you have to pay for it.
  9. Seeker is just screaming to be recreated as a Western Champions character. Instead of being a white Australian raised by a ninja, he is a white American raised by an old shaman/warrior of a lost first nation tribe (and last surviving member of it).
  10. Simply as the question asks. Well, maybe a few more information. Western Champions would be a low powered Champions campaign set in the Western Hero setting. A bit more wierd wierd west then wild wild west. Generally speaking western comics with a superhero gimmick (the original non-supernatural Ghost Rider, Bat Lash, Johna Hex, Firehair, Two Gun Kid, etc.etc.etc.).
  11. Tiss because a supervillain named Rave is so visually intresting. A guy with two glowing neon batons.
  12. I know what Raven is...but you spelt it without the n and I had to have some fun.
  13. I know Red Doom isn't next. But what is this group Rave you mention? We must watch out for the dangerous glow sticks of doom, old chum.
  14. One other thing to remember about Red Doom is, that the name the west has always associated with the group is NOT originally there name. It was an western media nickname for any and all Soviet government sponsored superbeings, if they were part of a team or not. It is also considered, from the fall of the Soviet Union till at least untill invaded the Ukraine, a name never to be used.
  15. It depends on how often it actually shows up in the campaign. In a more earthbound campaign, where space travel is a rarity and actual space combat is a "not going to happen" it is worth a -1/4, if the GM is being generous. If the entire campaign is space bound, then a -2 is perhaps the right amount.
  16. I don't exactly know where the "Project" part came from. But yes, the Ubermachien. It probably originally a government program to create super soldiers to fight in Nam. Glad to hear it is on the schedule. Kinda out of date, but it might be cool to have 80's evil empire Soviet Union vibes. Raven is like VIPER meets SPECTOR. But would they have superpowered agents. This group I don't remember. What were they about?
  17. I'm sure you can create a few new test subjects. Please note in the final product that this is your interpretation of everything.
  18. #15 is Eclipse from European Enemies? I'm sure you can do better on the write ups.
  19. All true. England has a habit of knighthood for celebs also, but seemly mostly of It's own citizens. Does the United States have a similar honor?
