  1. Hi all, I am running a DCTAS and I need some pictures to help my players out, any ideas?
  2. Re: "I shoot the escape pod!!!" Thanks to the slow thinking of our GM, we met a superpowerd girl who had way too much energy( for some reason she had fire off energy basts every so often to lower her power build up). Then we rescued a guy with a no upper limit power absorbtion...well, to paraphrase Bill Murray " We got tose two together and walked through the rest of the game. Nothin like having a Wave motion Gun at your beck and call
  3. Re: Forensic Views There is also the "Howdunit" series of books. They are for mystery writing but they give a good insight into everything from crime scene investigation, poisons, and even how a police department is setup. There are quite a few books in the series, I have about 14. So, if you need to know just what is in a patrol car or what a body looks like after being poisned these will help both you and your players.
  4. Re: Gritty Vigilante \ Criminal Adventure Formulas How bout' white slavery? Gives you a chance to take the game world wide.
  5. Re: Name That Band Hero! Actually had a character in my Champs game named Mr. Roboto ( self aware robot...Martial Artist).
  6. Re: Comics you loved...but apparently no one else did It's been awhile since I collected comics. It's seems that quite a few of y'all like similar things. Some of mine were: John Sable The DNAgents E-Man ( loved the Mr.Z and the B-Team) Mike Mauser V DC Comics The Futurians The Elemenatals ( I remeber waiting years for Issue #3 ) Of course I never bought any, had plenty of friends with more dollars than sense.
  7. Re: Favorite Marvel 'What If?' This isnt a "what if", but does anyone remember the noctbranecht comic of "The Fantastic Four Roast"? I cant recall if that was a Marvel product. But was one of the funniest comic I have ever read.......until Ambush Bug came along.
  8. Re: Unusual recurring themes Yes I have a unusual recurring theme...My game is set in Seattle, WA and for some wierd reason the Emerald City Defenders cant seem to go more than 2 or 3 sessions with out trashing SafeCo Field ( Where the Seattle Mariners baseball team plays ). It seems they are convinced that it is mystical nexus point. So between ninjas, aliens, and a forgotten god the Mariners aint gonna win a World Series any time soon.
  9. Re: Starting A New DC Campaign There is a wide range of examples from TV, Movies, and Books. From TV you got the A-Team ( you darken it a bit and hvae people actually get shot). There was one called Dark Justice ( a judge seeking revenge for the murder of his family) the team was a former crimminals. Movies ya get Sneakers, Mission Impossible, and too many blacksploitation films . Books MACK BOLAN!!!! NUFF SAID!!! Basically the Able Team & Phoenix Force. These are just some that should help you out I.....hope.
  10. Re: Two Game Master's Part of the reason for 2 GM's it's a very large group of players. Second making them stay in a big group will work but it's not practical. Third we hope with two of us we can keep players from getting too bored. These players are famous for "splitting up to do more damage" Myself personally was just asking if any one has done it and looking for tip's and advice.
  11. This is my first post so please bare with me. My friend and I are working on DC campaign, the meta plot and minor plots are worked out so far. What we need is advice on how two GM's running at the same time should do it. I'm not sure if one should run the main body and the other help out with combat or should we share the load. Basically we want to here your thoughts and ideas. Signed Baffled in Bummertown
