  2. Re: Complicate the Person Above death tribble once dated Gamera, the giant Space Turtle... And, once again, it was not a good night.
  3. Re: Despero (5e, 1700 pts, no pants)
  4. Re: Character Name From Old "Golden Age Of Champions" Supplement? I know exactly what you mean. So during my infrequent trips home I scan, scan, scan. Now I carry a lot of that stuff around on a memory stick.
  5. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Friends: The Next Generation Hmmm, how about "Crouching Batman, Sleeping Superman" Chow Yun Fat as Bruce Wayne anybody?

    Arabia

Re: Arabia The interrior of the Arabian Peninsular is not known for throwing up civilizations. That's more of a coastal/riverine phenomenom. You could try going to its northern edge and the Tigris / Euphrates rivers. I think the Epic of Gilgamesh is 3000BC'ish? (IT guys have Wiki blocked, relying on memory), which would seem to be in your time period. While the history buffs would enjoy hearing of an ancient Yemeni civilization, you'd probably get more more recognition (even if it's only a chariots/Charlton Heston type recognition) if you mention Babylon or Gilgamesh in the back history somewhere.
  7. Re: Tintin Adventures that never were I can see a trend. What's up next - The Shadow?
  8. Re: Random Pulp SciFi Name Generator I like the way it includes the names of pulp authors in the possible output, Simak, Brackett etal.
  9. Re: Nazi Scientists Proposed Creating a Giant Space Mirror to Burn Enemy Nations And yet another nazi weapon that didn't make it into "My Tank Is Fight"... darn it.
  10. Re: Complicate the Person Above During his student days the death tribble payed for his tuition by cleaning windows. Nobody had ever seen a whole body wash cloth at work before.
  11. Re: Complicate the Person Above SatinKitty has never knowingly paid for anything using counterfeit currency.
  12. Re: Complicate the Person Above The death tribble is a well known contributor to "Nudist Monthly" on fine arts, international soccer and macrame.
  13. Re: Complicate the Person Above Most alien races have placed Cancer on BOLO lists to avoid after it was realised that he was actually attempting to be abducted. They think that he enjoys the experimentation, but they're afraid to ask.
  14. Re: Complicate the Person Above I once borrowed a book from death tribble on WWII. In the fly leaf was the inscription "To my cuddly tribble poppet, for the best night of my life! Kisses!" And it was signed Dwight D. Eisenhower. I have no idea what this could indicate.
  15. Re: Complicate the Person Above Speaking of fresh fish, why is it that in all the mermaid pictures ever taken, they all look like Marcus. What is he trying to conceal?
  16. Re: Complicate the Person Above Now look, the death tribble introduced me to Ramsey and, during conversation over a keg of strawberry flavoured schnapps we we come up with several comic, alarming or entertaining ways to enhance his Q status with the media. It's just bad luck that death tribble came back with another round of apple flavoured schnapps as Gordon was talking about Bramley. I made the witticism about Bramley Apples, death tribble called some media friends and Gordon was out the door. Now get the death tribble to tell you about his time spent in Guatemala as a UN Relief worker.
  17. Re: Complicate the Person Above And again it's a gross exageration! It WAS a reciepe for disaster and numerous lawsuits. Most of which were brought by the death tribble. But that's long since over. We settled out of court with me sniveling and begging and he went on to patent a device for prepulped orange juice, "Just Peel and Pour!" as the advert said.
  18. Re: Complicate the Person Above Look, the whole "blue raincoat" thing is a gross exageration of a slight trauma I suffered while death tribble was giving me a manicure last April Fools day. I'm completely over it now and his hair has long since grown back.
  19. Re: Complicate the Person Above Of course Marcus didn't find that out until the night he met Ross Perot and tkdguy while they were dating the Olsen Twins.
  20. Re: Complicate the Person Above During the making of 'King Kong', Marcus was hired to be the big man's acting coach. To really get him to loosen up and show his inner feelings.
  21. Re: Complicate the Person Above death tribble has not used his mongrammed hula-hoop since the night Sir Edmund Hilary offered to take him on his next Everest Expedition. I've no idea what is the connection between these two items.
  22. Re: Complicate the Person Above It's straneg but true. The death tribble has never been able to buy anything on eBay for only 99 cents... even on Fridays.
  23. Re: Complicate the Person Above teh bunneh is still being asked questions by reporters about his personal relationship with Ho Chi Minh.
  24. Re: Complicate the Person Above Marcus once wrote an instruction pamphlet to be bundled with a Kazoo. It was entitled "1001 things to do with with a Kazoo", but only item was was entitled "Play it"...
  25. Re: Complicate the Person Above death tribble once gave Boris Karloff acting lessons, really helped him with his close up shots.
