  1. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? The Duelists by Iron Maiden
  2. Re: Does This Seem Shady? Definitely seems shady, but you can always look at it from another light. Does the other character having all this power make the game un-fun for you and the other players? If not, don't worry about it. If so, i'd suggest asking the GM (privately) about the character. Sometimes GMs have crazy plot ideas that require characters to be something in particular.
  3. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Take on me cover by Reel Big Fish. Better than the original, IMO.
  4. Re: Kill, jail, or rehabilitate, what happens to your villains? My PCs work closely with UNTIL, so they just turn all the villains over to them. This mean jail. I've only ever had one supervillain killed, and that was by 'accident' (autofire KA on an entangled speedster will do that).
  5. Re: What Have You Watched Recently? Just saw Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. Thought it was pretty good but the 'mook' factor for some of the cameo appearances was pretty high.
  6. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? She is beautiful by Andrew W.K.
  7. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... Reminds me of my group. The Ardent has a power called Battleborn Acuity. Somehow it always ends up being Battleborn Atrocity.
  8. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Robotechnology from the Robotech soundtrack. Random play FTW!
  9. Re: Skills. How much is too much? What did you start with? My recent party has an interesting 'range' of skills. We have a detective, an electrical expert, a hero with 'misspent youth', and two with 'agent' skills. They've spent between 52 and 131 points in skills. Of course the lowest is really 21 points as he has 11 points of power skill and 20 points of CSLs. In his defense, the character does have amnesia and it is the player's first character.
  10. Re: What Have You Watched Recently? The Losers It's a better A-team movie than The A-Team was.
  11. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Goodbye by Save Ferris on Pandora. I do love me some ska!
  12. Re: Campaign Damage Caps, Code vs. Killing & Pulling a Punch While I would never argue with caps, you can still make it interesting for the 'lower powered' character. In your example, Blue Beetle can always use his sight flash to give WW or SM a huge advantage. Also, with all his skills (assuming he's not in comic relief mode) he will be the focus when it comes to any sort of skill use. You have to gauge what your players can handle and work with it. If they can't handle being overshadowed by someone else then I love hard caps, everyone will feel equal in combat. If they can handle a game where each character will have the spotlight once in a while, then I say throw the caps out the window.

  14. Re: What Have You Watched Recently? I've (finally) caught up on Doctor Who (the most recent series). Started watching it on BBC America after I got laid off. I got almost caught up, but they wouldn't show 'The End of Time, parts 1 and 2". Luckily, my mom bought me the DVD with those on it for Christmas. Now, on to Torchwood. Hopefully I can catch up before the next season starts.
