Re: Original Supervillain Groups -- Get Creative! Me and a buddy of mine had come up with competeing villian groups in which all the villian's names were based song titles. Mine was called the MUSIC MEN. Here is the roster as follows.... Major Tom and Captain Fantastick. They're the leaders of the group. They are twins whose crimes are based on song lyrics and are powerful egoists as well as major league psychotictic. they are aided and abetted by.... Black Dog. The team's main brick who turns into a large werewolf type creature. Highway Star. the team's main speedster. Foxy Lady. A superhumanly agile woman with several martial arts skills. White Rabbit. A powerful Empath with drug issues. Mr. Tinkertrain. A dimensional shifter with a thing for young girls as mear toys. Magic Man. A psycho with a variable magic pool.

John Byrne did a special one shot before the second launch of The DOOM PATROL that included the original bunch and the second group that had contained Robotman plus Celcius who claimed to be the widow of the Chief and its new leader in order to find him, Tempest, who was a Vietnam deserter who could project powerful force blasts,and Negative Woman, who could house the negative form that belonged to Larry Traynor, the Negative Man. Cliff Steele sumised that all that "all American girl" imagry pounded into her psyche was what made her a misfit in her mind even though she looked perfectly normal.

Re: Doom Patrol Champions Has any body noticed that the Original Doom Patrol (minus The Chief) Made its debut on TEEN TITANS this past weekend? I caught it Monday by accident and it was the rubber half of a two -parter. It centered on Beast Boy and it appears that the Brotherhood of Evil will be a season long headache for the Teen Titans because all their villians had gathered togather at the end to await the Brain's next move.

Re: This week on "Champions"... GLOBAL DEFENSE INITIATIVE: THE GOLD TEAM "Institut 21". Someone has stolen classified information from "Institut 21" (Russia's equivalent to Project Blue Book) pertaining to parahumans with possible alien origins. At first, it's just a police matter. Until the people in question begin dissappearing. Is it a plot by rogue KGB agents? Has the Starcorps ventured away from US territory to seek alien "threats"?,or is there an unknown force from beyond the stars trying to soften Earths defenses. The GDI must know before their "alienized" members begin vanishing.

Re: Superhero Images Her hair is a reddish auburn. Her face is light blue (like an Andorians's) She wears a very dark blue body armour with white and gold highlights. Her cloak and shoal are ruby red with the cloak outlined in yellow. The clasp on her shoal is gold with various colored crystals on it. Millennium Girl is a alien abductee from the 21st century and awakened in the 31st century. I wanted to show the loneliness she constantly feels as she looks off towards where her life used to be. I like how the brick colored out cropping emphysises that as she stands on this relic of her past.

Re: Tell me about your superhero campaigns! Mine is called the Global Defense Initiative. A secret alien defense organization headquarterd on the Moon. Along with friendly alien allies and indigiunous lunar beings called "Selenites" (mine lean towards the "First Men in the Moon" movie version than the CU write-up), This patchwork defense force has kept hostile aliens away from Earth while solving some of the more perplexing UFO mysteries around the world. All the while working under UNTIL's radar. The GOLD TEAM(My main PC group),SAPPHIRE SQUAD,and FORCE AQUARIUS(both Origins) make up the parahuman contingient of the GDI.

Re: What Would Your Character's City Be Like? The Global Defense Initiative is over 60% Russian personel. Moscow and St. Petersburg are not the main hangouts for the players, however. That falls on the Siberian city of Novosibiersk. The blueprint for a Russian "Boom Town". (Find and rent "Siberia:How the East Was Won" from the History Channel to learn more)

The Kremlin says it is under control, until the military unit sent in to investigate goes dark as well. This falls within the GDI's mandate' but the Kremilin has shoot to kill orders for anyone entering the city. What is so important that that the government would kill to keep secret; including the Gold Team?

"Wayward Soul" (FRI 8:00 PM) A 'Plane Shear" experiment summons a powerful human who escapes Tranquility Base and heads for Earth. Can the Gold Team retrieve her and send her back Before a powerful corperation can capture this "alien invader". The Gold Team found her, a young woman named PATHFINDER.(a member of the FORCE OF NINE(GenCon)). The Plane Shear inadvertantly became a Time Machine and the Gold Team was assigned to to bring her back. The Starcorps had a different opinion and sent a team to stop the "alien intruder". The GDI stopped the Starcorps and sent Pathfinder home 1000 years in the future while capturing two of the Starcorps.
