Any news on when it will be available for purchase? I would have signed up to be a beta tester, but my group doesn't play frequently enough.

I'll be running the first one on Saturday. I'm also going for a quick one shot where the characters have their initial monster attack prior to recruitment. We've never used the Hero system before, and I haven't been a GM since high school, so I don't want to do anything too complicated. Since we are just going to be learning the basics of the system, I decided to have them use the 5 pre-made characters from the Adventures In Monster Hunting PDF, minus the equipment. Some of the people in my group like to do stuff like renaissance faires, so I'm going to have them attend one where a wannabe necromancer unleashes a horde of zombies. They will then have to gather equipment and fight their way to the end. They will probably end up getting overwhelmed fighting the main bad guy and his minions at the end, but then an MHI team can swoop in and save the day, and maybe offer them jobs.

Thanks, that has most of what I'm looking for. Would be nice to have the firearm and weapons charts as well, but I can probably print those out of the rulebook PDF.

Would it be possible to get a PDF with just the various charts and tables? I'm new to the Hero system, and it would be helpful to have something where I can easily look up the information I need without having to page through the entire book.
