For someone who has tried and dabbled into HERO, this has been a great thread to read. Over the years I have purchased a lot of Hero books. Ever since I laid eyes on FRED, but never played. Correction I have played in three Hero 6E games at a con, two of which were ruined by Jason Walters. Now that I have a continuing medical issue keeping me off my feet for at least 3 months, I am diving into Hero again. So this thread is helpful and insightful, to me at least. One thing I thought was interesting was, Isn't the HERO System also considered a toolbox for RPG's? That parts of it can also be used in other RPG's?

How did you come up with your 'handle' (forum name)? it's part of my name and to differentiate me between all the other green dude's out their. What was the first tabletop RPG you played? AD&D 1st Ed, 1978 What was the first tabletop RPG you GMed? After all this time, none. My wife has been egging me on to do it. What are you currently playing/GMing?

I feel ashamed. Until now, I have not heard of Strike Force.

I am wanting to get into Champions and I have played HERO System games a few times at Cons. I own almost all the 6th Edition books and wanted to know, am I understanding that instead of using the 2 volume 6th Ed books I can just use Champions Complete and use that with the Champions sourcebooks?
