Everyone wants an NFL team. They're a license to print money. (For somebody.) Since it'll be hard to buy the Seahawks outright, and then there's the stadium, my modest proposal is that the estate should just sell Seattle and move it.

My wife, the former attorney, also wondered about his estate; but as he was someone who'd been a cancer patient for years, AND a business mind of high order, I expect the estate, while complex and huge, is sewn up really tight.  It seems unlikely that he neglected many details.

Dealing with old people who have a growing dementia is ..difficult. I feel for them.
Dealing with a manipulative hag with narcissism disorder so you can't tell when it's the dementia and when it's just her being a grade A b**ch can be a nightmare. But my Housemate can't trhow her mom on the street and I spend more time here soooo....
 
And sorry, folks. Just needed to vent. No, we can't afford to get her in a home, yes we've checked vet benefits, no she can't afford to get a nurse care herself, and when left along she would fall down a LOT partially because she doesn't take her meds on time. This isn't a request to fix the situation, we've explored that. This is just a vent and a need to blow off steam because telling a 76 year old woman to **** the next time she makes a passive aggressive play or underhanded insult is against my upbringing.

It's got a lot of stretch goals done and yes, very quick and easy system.   It's what I played before Champions.  (Hexes and points, but way simpler)
 

I can't find "Honey Beige" as a paint color, only as a makeup shade.  Exactly what kind of store did you get it from?

Short of the liquid helium supply for the MRI magnets, I think that stairwell is likely to be the least flammable thing in the whole building.

Latest addition to the household is Olivia.  Possibly hit or tossed from a car, or had been in the engine compartment.  She was found by the road and taken to a vet clinic who was able to hold her for a few days.  We drove down to pick her up. She did have a dislocated hip and some bruising on her chest.   Also was blind and her eyes were completely non-responsive to light.  However, she does seem to see at least light & dark currently, though I think there's been improvement over the last couple days.   Odd thing is, unlike any Siamese I've known, she doesn't get red eye.  One of our other cats who is also a Siamese mix gets red eye without any flash involved.  I think that may have to do with how much light gets thru her pupil.
She she's another vet on Wed to have an x-ray to make sure she can be spayed safely and we'll have another look into her eyes.

Apparently Disney are going to do a Stormtrooper Star Wars film. It could be a hit or miss affair.  But let's face it, it will be a miss.

Can't really say I have a preference. I was introduced to 4th Edition and loved it. I liked 5th Edition also (what little I got to play it). 6th Edition would probably would be to my liking but I didn't have the money and had other priorities. I have the money now, but have even less time to game. I would be curious as to what 7th Edition would be like and what changes it might have.

I have a really old email account that accumulates a fair amount of spam, and, while setting up a rule to filter that out in a new email client, I set up a rule incorrectly, which then "trained" the client to dump just about everything into the folder. So, I usually go through and mark the good stuff as "not spam" so that it will be taken out of that list. That means that I get to see the sanitized headers/emails without links in my box before deleting. Some are sort of interesting, like badly-worded scams from "totally honest" people who want me to smuggle out money from foreign countries. Today, there was one that had apparently mined the last couple of digits of a telephone number, and decided to tell me that I had downloaded malware to my phone, that they had my full contact list, and that they had activated the camera and recorded a couple of hours of video, and that I had 48 hours to contact them or else. Now, that all confused me for a moment, until I realized that the last two digits that they had given me were those of the home phone number--one of those things that most folks don't have anymore that doesn't have a camera, can't download malware or apps, and certainly doesn't store contacts.
