  1. Yeah, that was just for a "standard, 400 points game." She traded damage for speed and defense. Keep in mind that the guides are a range, not a maximum for every character. Ablative is interesting, but complex. You're welcome.
  2. How do you like these rebuilds? Bluebird.hdc Poison Petal.hdc
  3. Due to his COME of 16, he should have one level of striking appearance vs all, or +2d6 vs women (depending on what better fits the story).
  4. His STUN should be 26, not 25. But it looks fantastic otherwise!
  5. Darn, I wish I didn't have class on Wednesdays. This sounds like a fun game!
  6. There is an adventure in the Fantasy HERO Battlegrounds book that features similar elements and storyline.
  7. Interesting, but the big problem is that the character relies too much on perceivable, which isn't legal with distinctive features (with the exception of the resistant protection). You kind of abused unified power and then got the high power defense. I don't allow this build in my games, as it is "here's a flaw but I also have an advantage that negates the flaw." What do you think of this version? I used a modified adventuring gadgeteer from the Champions 6e book and kept most of your skills. The diplomatic immunity seemed questionable, given his background. 8. That is amazing art! Nice work! I ran a MHI game back in 2017. I enjoyed it, but one of the players wasn't into it so I retired it.
  9. Hello fellow HERO gamers, I'm planning on running some events at Origins in 2019. They will be Champions or HERO games given my disappointment at the lack of those games at the 2018 convention. Have you ever submitted events to Origins before? Just curious as I've never done event submissions and could use some help.
  10. Hello everyone, Are there stats on the Death Dragon and the Cult of the Red Banner in the Champions 5th and 6th edition books? Or other resources? What about Hi-Pan? Please l let me know where I can find them as I'm thinking I will do a storyline for my Champions Worldwide: Agents of UNITY campaign that features the Tournament of the Dragon in Thailand (where the players want to go).
  11. 1) I liked the chess title, even though I'm nowhere near that level but I think I'm that level in terms of GMing (maybe). 2) Dungeons and Dragons 2nd edition (I played it as a youngster, about 12 years old or so) 3) Also D&D 2nd edition, although I had help from my friends. We re-enacted the Battle for Helm's Deep 2-4 years before Peter Jackson did it on the big screen. 4) I'm currently GMing some games with a couple users on the forum and playing in games that they're running. We're doing HERO System 6th edition. I also GM a monthly Savage Worlds game (underrated system, but it's far more rules-light than HERO) and GM a monthly HERO game online for the Kerberos Club.
  12. That's a shame. Do you if anyone would have that information? Is there a way to contact his estate?
  13. Does anyone have the information for the following heroes in Michael Satran's Universe (King of the Mountain pages 73-74): Ramjet, an alien humanoid sheep with superpowers The Scarlet Mage, a man with a mystic amulet Vigilant: a tough, no-nonsense street hero who fights with the Arnis martial arts style Risk, the embodiment of the energy of beating the odds Tectonic: a mutant who draws his powers from the seismic power of the earth itself
  14. Actually, let's not say may- I will, when the time and budget are right.
  15. I may be able to swing down to the Durham area again this year. I had a blast running MHI for you guys.
  16. That's understandable. HERO just isn't as big as it used to be- despite Champions Online.
  17. Why is it unlikely to be ever published?
  18. Thank you Cassandra. Here is my character. It's for a friend's really high-powered teen superhero game. Michelle Preston.hdc
  19. He posted under DJWebb2- I think. He passed away earlier this year. He was good friends with Storn, who illustrated some of his characters.
  20. In my own Victorian superhero game, Otto Von Bismarck has become "The Iron Chancellor" a steampunk cyborg with plans to make Germany the dominant power in the world. He's probably the most powerful villain. You could also have The Mechanical Turk become sentient, similar to Ultron.
  21. Thank you Scott. Did you get a chance to see the adventure I made? I might do a sequel where the PCs fight another Canadian supervillain...perhaps Borealis as Necrull is probably too creepy for a convention game.
  22. Do you know DJ Webb/Dave Webb? I ran a game in honor of him (based on a campaign he ran), and have a few characters that could be brought to life.
  23. Hello everyone, How would you build witchblade? Or a character similar to her. Basically this would be a mystic martial artist- a teenage version of the character who happens to be an American exchange student in Japan. This version would be similar to Masane Amaha instead of Sara Pezzini.
  24. David Webb/DJ Webb, he posted on the forum a few times. He was running a Champions game where the PCs were all descendants of World War II superheroes.
