Well, the power level of the PCs is intended to max out at 12DC.  As I said earlier, I want him to be lower level than them. Off the top of my head, I think I'd want to put him in the 6DC - 9DC range, at most.

I found Kodiak in the 5e Millennium City book and converted him to 6e.  I'll send Kodiak plus an Officer Sasquatch built off of 300 points (feel free to power him down if you'd like).

I didn't balance them at all. I just use the buy ability of Ninja Hero, Ultimate Martial Artist, Hero System Martial Arts. The ballance was done for me via how many points it is required to buy a single maneuver.

I'm trying to make 400 point video game martial artists.  I'm not 100% sure about using an Endurance Reserve for the powered-up attacks.  A friend of mine used skill rolls at difficulty for players to use their powered-up attacks and I was satisfied how it worked.    What would you recommend?  What about budgeting for powers, skills/perks/talents and powers?

I just watched the Legendary Weapons of China. It was a weird movie with some magic and martial arts. However it had a cool opening scene with several unique Chinese weapons. Also the final fight scene had a cool scene with Butterfly sword (they translated differently) and SHIELD! How often do you see a shield in a martial arts movie? And why are they never stated up in the martial arts game books?

I think they're in Fantasy HERO, that's why.  Although I think a lot of the weapons are in the HSEG.

I've been in an MHI campaign now for 2 years or so. Tons of fun.

And the author Larry is a hoot. I only see him in person these days a couple times a year, but he's a great guy.

That's awesome!  Yeah, I'd love to meet that gun-toting, hulking Portuguese Mormon.Where do you see him?

This game was incredibly anticipated, and from what I heard, sold extremely well.  The store was prepared for this to go huge, and evidently a great many copies were carried to some con or other.

Then the author of the books made some political comment.  You know just what a bad idea that is in the day of the internet!     (turns out he's pro gun, too.  Shocking how many people were surprised by that     ).   Anyway, there was a huge backlash against the public, and in what is becoming pretty normal for internet activists, everything with his name on it was anathema.  You know: because the surest way to punish an author is to not by the books that feature his ideas--- ideas that the publishers had already bought and paid for and then sunk a huge amount of money into printing.   Yeah: that'll teach that guy that already got paid before these things were printed!

I didn't know the game existed (I'd been away from the internet for a couple of years), and by the time I'd heard about it, the blow-up and boycott had already happened and people were stuck with whatever Corea stuff they had.   When I finally did hear about this game, I wanted to snag a couple-- one because one of my brothers is a huge fan of the books (I'm not) and another for myself to support the idea of "one thin book" with a complete game in it.  (book wasn't that thin, by the way.)  I bought one for my brother and noticed the store showed a few hundred on hand.  I decided to wait till I could better-afford the expense before I bought another.  I kept an eye on it, almost by accident:  every time I was ready to buy, something would come up, and I'd have to wait again.

What boycott?  Are you talking about him getting disinvited from Origins in 2018?  Or was this something earlier?

    You're welcome -- I hope they were helpful. :)

By "the third Predator movie," I'm guessing you mean Predators starring Adrien Brody, from 2010. I enjoyed that one myself, enough to buy it on DVD. It was written as a direct sequel to the first Predator, completely ignoring Predator II which was probably a good idea. OTOH the most recent film has been almost universally panned by critics and fans, which was a surprise to me given Shane Black's directing credits plus his acting role in the very first film.

Some online sources treat the two Alien vs Predator films as a separate franchise and continuity, which I guess makes sense.

As for writing up an Alien Queen, in her immobile egg-laying form she's a plot device, stats not really needed IMO. For her mobile form she's essentially just a really big xenomorph. I'd take whatever basic xeno character sheet you use, add a Size template ("Large" would be enough, I think), increase her Killing Attacks and Defenses proportionately, and add Extra Limbs for her additional pair of arms.

Fair enough.  How would you build the alien eggs?  Would it be a barrier for the facehugger?
