Cosmic Man's Achievements

  1. To destroy the planet, just figure out the volume in 2 meter increments (close enough to hexes). Then figure out how much body it would take to destroy every hex in the planet (instead of punching a hole through). Of course, if your attack is large enough and can target every hex at once (AOE, Indirect, Megascale, etc), you could probably do it with a 1pip penetrating attack in a matter of... say, 19 phases?
  2. Is it possible they are reacting to the power armor as an expression of wealth? "Many" women are attracted to wealth.
  3. In my campaign, the AI started as "Doorstop". A simple machine that could recognize voice patterns and open doors for people. Then the PC's wanted more... So then the additions began. From a humble beginning he got cobbled together with a CRAY computer and lots of extras piled on. In the end, little did they know it, but Doorstop was actually using them to further his agenda of a world where all doors opened without the help of mechanical agencies (there was only so much for the supervillains to work with to reprogram it).
  4. If the vehicle takes knockback, I count stun on the pilot (and all passengers) as if the vehicles def was the person's def. That way the driver isn't "invulnerable". Or, some vehicles with a "feedback" disadvantage, every hit is like the vehicle is the "armor" of the person. It takes the body, but the pilot takes the stun.
  5. Didn't see it on my last trip. Of course, my buddy that worked there no longer does, so I have less reason to stop by. I'll probably drop by there sometime this week to see if it's in.
  6. Umm, buy the suit as a vehicle with onboard computer? The onboard computer has such programs that will allow it to know if the pilot is ko'd and to take appropriate action? Now "that" is simple.
  7. Cosmic Man: Simple, transform him into something useful and/or join him to the table, wall, or some-such (Maybe turn him into a 2nd restraint table). Shapechange into his appearance, and blast the rescue party when the come in to "save" me. Leyosh: Fry the robot, fry the invading troops, possibly even fry the villain. He's a small dragon with a flaming breath weapon, so he tends to fry things.
  8. I'm afraid I don't even visit the WOTC in Portland. I've always preferred Bridgetown Hobbies, which supported Hero better, among other lines.
  9. I had two sorts of like Juggernaught (back in 4th ed). First was... Force of Nature! Big, green, no mouth (hey, I was playing Magic back then). Funniest thing was, by absolute accident, the PC's figured out he didn't have flash defense and hit him with some mace borrowed from a nearby policeman. The other was called Shockwave. Absorbtion vs kinetic energy with the +2 advantage that it added to all his physical characteristics and powers at once. (with 90 total capacity) He went from spd 3 to 12, his run became phenominal, strength went from 30 to 120... you get the picture. Fortunately, he was vulnerable to mental assault (though VERY hard to con-stun when he was boosted). Favorite maneuver of course was move-through.
  10. Check out Callahans Crosstime Saloon game for the PC. Humor saves our entire UNIVERSE!
  11. I thought this one was abusive in 4th ed. Off the top of my head. 1/2d6 (std effect 2 points) transfer, area of effect (radius) with multiple increased range, only body from inanimate objects, cannot take the last point of body, reduced fade rate. Transferred body goes to: additional top end for transfer main pool and control cost for a cosmic VPP. Basically, it's the "FIST OF THE NORTH STAR" power-up power. It was horribly cheesy and fantastically point-inefficient, I think for every 10 character points transferred, only 1 went to the actual VPP, maybe even less. But when every hex of dirt has 16 body, and each phase the area of effect swells based on the increased active points of the power... (Blatantly ripped from the Thanic Rod from Mystic Masters)
  12. Glad you made it back safe!
  13. Nothing defines a team better than how well they handle a loss. At least, that's what I'm told. (This was played as part of the Zodiac Conspiracy) Superbowl Sunday! Our Heros have 50yd line seats (in civilian ID) when Mechanon comes streaking across the sky, bent on a course of destruction. My character, Cosmic Man, after finding a place to change, takes to the sky to battle the metal menace. "Face the power of my photon blast!" I shout as I reconfigure my (not quite cosmic) power pool to give the aforementioned blast. 6-6-6 is the skill roll and *BOOM*, down plummets Cosmic Man, a victim of his barely controlled energy. Right in front of the Super Bowl crowd... at halftime... And then it gets worse. The rest of the team held off Mechanon long enough for Cosmic Man to wake back up (and get his Photon Blast working), and take the metal menace down. That's when several members of the Zodiac show up. Cosmic Man gets the old move-through from Aries, and spends the rest of the fight imprinted in a cement wall. The Mad Basher got driven into the ground like a nail. And our Green Lantern wannabe got left with the wonderful Mind Control command of "Macarena". At least we didn't get dressed as mimes. Needless to say, when we did get our revenge, it was SWEET!
  14. Hmm, you sure this wasn't created by Joss Whedon? This girl has massive (pardon the pun) angst potential. The story possibilities are endless. I am interested in hearing how this one turns out.
