Well my copy of Larger than Life arrived. Its packed with great characters, history, tall tales, legends, and funny stuff. Some of them I have never heard of, some I only knew slightly (Stagger Lee/Stagolee) and some I knew very well like Pecos Bill. Particularly fun is the treatment of characters such as Jim Bridger's more ludicrous and hilarious tall tales as history.
The only real flaw I see in this book is the lack of adventure ideas. This is something every book, no matter what the topic, can use: prompts on how to use these guys, adventures for various settings. All that's needed are short little bits, a few pages of a paragraph or two for each.
Overall a great product full of fun and useful for any genre.
