    I vote for "Study Group"...this not only measures Entropy (As you can see we have a gradient of 8 Study Groups per second) but denotes one of the major producers of Entropy.

    Yes, maybe the Doc wrote a book about it ...and marketing came up with using Freddy as the face of the disorder. Heck, I would have had Foxbat mind wash the Doc, as part of a Master Plan!(tm)...:) So Naturaly its named after the "hero".

    Exactly...extra back story. Legionaires got named by the press. Lou Gerhrig was in his time a superstar. They effectively renamed for him, to put a face on the disorder.

    Sounds great! Adds a nice "flavor"...but syndrones get named after the Doc so maybe a little extra back story would come in handy.

    Maybe it is "just me" but there is no room for a head (bathroom you land lubbers) so they are getting to know each other Super well if this trip takes anything like a reasonable amount of time.

    Well, I don't feel that way, a persons failings are things alone. I admire Martin Luther King for his courage, and convictions. The fact that he may have played around, violating his vows does not lessen his good. Audy Murphy was not the best citizen ever, but his bravery is undiminished. (etc, et all )

    Well, don't worry too much. It is actually "OK" for a hero to be mortal. We all just tend to forget that.

    No. There can be lots of exposistion to follow, but it'll all boil down to "Sword and/or blade shape is determined by Culture, not science" There are valid reasons for one shape to be better at a given job, but that seldom takes first place. For example you can build a blade to be very good at draw cuts, and slashes (say a Tulwar) but a given fighter is Far more likely to adjust his or her "style" to the blade, than to custom order something.

    I remember reading a sci-fantasy book called "Fata Morgana"(??) that dealt with a floating island that was mostly a volcanic stone that floats. They had to scape bio contamination off too keep floating...if you can find it it might spark some ideas...

    Well, just to mix in some...I think you should go for 50/50 the heroes get a fight they don't want, and find a way to win for a negotiated peace. "We have our own strenths, just because we are yong does not mean we can be treated as less than equal" you know, comic book stuff. ?

    Dad gum! Has it come to this? The Dc movies thread is all about marvel? Sad, I prefered Marvel growing up, but DC has produced many of the most iconic Superheroes. They have squandered so much!
