  1. Ok, with a CSL I can get a +1 ocv OR dev. But for the price I pay for an overall CSL I can get +1 ocv AND dcv. Why buy CSLs?
  2. Re: Surprisingly Effective Builds? It would be like Cyrno prompting Christian at Roxan's window.

An old family, the Drăgulescu has kings, scholars, generals, and powerful necromancers in their past. Long ago, dark liaisons tainted the family’s blood with that of the undead. This dark influence gives Nadia her potential for the necromantic arts. Her family enrolled her in the Romanian Royal Academy of Magic at a young age. She was in and out of trouble often, sometimes her talent and family prestige the only thing keeping her in the school. Wishing to get away from the stifling atmosphere of the old world, and an old family, Nadia decided to study abroad. After reading the letters from her brother, who was attending M.I.T. (Michigan Institute of Thaumaturgy), she decided to study in America. It took a lot of persuasion but she finally convinced her family to let her attend the Ravenswood academe in Millennium City. Nadia has a strong sense of nobilise obligae, and a strong desire to have fun. As befitting a girl of her birth she plays a musical instrument, she is classically trained in the Guitar. However her favorite instrument is the old electric guitar she bought at a second hand store. She knows how to deal with the social obligations of high society, but prefers to avoid it. Nadia’s constant contact with the netherworld gives her an understanding of things no teenager should have to face. She may seem cold, but this is only a this shell covering a passionate person. “Now this is the point we really get in trouble.” Nadia is a Petite girl of eastern European blood. Because of her blood link to the netherworld, she has a pale deathly parlor to her skin, an almost white complexion. When in public she uses makeup to conceal her complexion. She has Black hair just beyound her sholders and Green eyes. When not in her school uniform, she dresses in black dresses and skirts. Growing up a Aristrocratic family, she has alwies worn more formal clothing than most people. Combine this with her desire to express herself her clothing, and you get what others would call goth clothing. Costume: Leather look like (the costume is armored) Bodice over a high collared shirt with a lacy neck and sheaves. She wears a Large ornate pendant and ear rings. Her hair is down, just past shoulder lenght. Some light black armor pieces on the shoulders, arms and lower legs. Tall lace up boots lead up to a skirt. Leather pouches on her belt hold the few tools she needs. (communicator, and some mundane items)
  4. Re: WWYCD: The Jack-In-The-Box Scenario Zenko, a mychevious Kitsune (illusionist): Well if it the crank is turning, Sing along. (or at least that is what it would look like is what is happening, she is actualying HIDING!)
  5. Re: Little Powers You instantly know what ever activity any person would rather be doing than what they are doing now. "He would rather be fishing, He would rather be . . ." or it was in a movie, um, 'The Unbreakable' is a prime example. Some damage reduction (no life support) and a clarisentiance that tells you the last bad thing done by someone you touch.
  6. Re: What would happen if Los Angeles County vanished? Bad sequel to 'Escape from New York'? No really, we rebuild it, beater than ever, "The City of the Day After Tomaro" make Melanimum city envious.
  7. Re: superuseless superpowers How about this one: Cosmetic Transform 3d6 (Red traffic lights to Green Traffic lights) (15 Active Points); Extra Time (1 Minute, -1 1/2)
  8. Re: Ninjas in a Champions game Well, does anyone ever KNOW how many Ninjas they are fighting? They like to hide and such. Just add about one cup of ninjas and slowly stir in more till the combat is the right consistency.
  9. Ok, from what it says, there will be a playable Demo at Gencon. Ends up, I am catching a ride with a friend and will be there. Does anyone know if that means visitors can try it out?
  10. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... Doc. A. hasn't posted any of ours for quite a while. So, I will. To start it off: Teen Champions, after becoming lost in space, the super Brains in our class have fashioned our dorms into a sort of space ship. As the dorm/ship zooms to the rescue of the away team: OOC: Ready Futon Torpedoes!
  11. Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game The new defiance means you can Literly, Zap people in your sleep. Oddly enough, that is a lot more help than it sounds.
  12. Re: WWYCD for a klondike bar? (humorous please) Now Nadia is the Goth girl Necromancer from Romania in a teen champions game. Her 'Whatwould you do for a Klondile bar' would be simple: Whear Pink. Ok, now getting Nadia to do this would be hard, and could have dire conciquences for the fabric of the universe.
  13. Re: The Long Distance Relationship: Playing Champions Through The Post Last night Dr Anonomly ran a session of our teenchampions game is an AOL chatroom. It worked Remarkabley well. We did not have any combat, but we did have a lot of charictor interaction and we had a lot of fun. I dont' know if I would wanto do a game fully by chatroom, but that seems a heck of a lot better than email.
  14. Re: Sure signs that your player doesn't want to be in your 350 pt champions game. "Actualy I made him to remind me of all those who have been throns in my side. When I look at him, I can see whomever has troubled me the most latley. He does not know why I enrage him so, I just wanted to guarente he will play his part in our little 'sessions'. Nothing releaves the tension of a failed plan quite like my little 'stress ball'."
  15. Re: Sure signs that your player doesn't want to be in your 350 pt champions game. Make it selective and add some insane defences, that could be a cool charictor. But along with the theam of the thread: 1. Charictor keeps calling police instead of replying to threat. 2. Charictor Refuses to 'hang out' with the other PCs. 3. Charictor moves to other city. Now the scarry thing is I am NOT making these up, a player did these things in a game I was in. The PC was a high school teacher and other two charictors were students. She insisted she was 'in charictor' and we kept saying 'You like Buffy, does Jiles do this junk?'. But agian, see the title of this thread. But that ship has sailed and I do not have to worry about her anymore.
