  2. Re: A Renaissance Man That sounds like a good start. Hes both physically and intellectually accomplished. I would give the man Linguist and provide him with several languages hes fluent in. I would also give him a fair bit of knowledge of the geography, history and culture of the nations those languages are from. Since hes going for National security I would give him psychology and sociology skills. Hes a man that tries to think like his adversary so he can counter his crimes rather than react to them. Hes a man that understands human nature and how to motivate others. I would give him a healthy amount of scientific knowledge in fields such as Biology, Chemisty, and Physics especially how these powers relate to super powers or acts of terrorism. He could run down a list of random stolen chemical heist around the nation and relaize that the villians makeing X for example. He doesn't have to relie on reports he knows how to apply all the science himself. To round him out I would give him great taste in foods and wines. A contemporary sense of style and fashion would also fit him. He should always be impecably dressed. I might also give him an extensive knowledge of baseball or football stats and history as a hobby. Just my thoughts on a Renassance man in the role your wanting him in.

  4. Re: Char: Power Girl Have you considered the Distracting Costume power they have in the equipment book? I gave it to my knock off of Powergirl named Boom Boom. It seems to fit.
  5. Re: Char: Supergirl I like the write up especially the multipower. There has been some speculation that Kara Zor El's powers may exceed that of her cousins since she came here as adolesant rather than an infant. Im not sure what your version of Supermans strength is rated as though. Might be something to consdier if you use them in a campaign. The disadvantages might need some slight alteration. Kara has a deffinate dark streak and the code vs killing and the altruism might be replaced with something to reflect the duality within her. She seems to want to be a hero due to WonderWoman and Kal El's influence but her father didn't intend for her to be. In fact he intended her to kill Kal El because he hated Jor El. Also who knows what residual effects her conversion by Darksied has left behind. Giving her a certain edge to her personality gives her a different flavor from her past incarnations. She has the power of Superman perhaps even stronger yet no one really knows what this girl may or may not do. Shes a little frightning. Just some ideas to consider.
  6. Re: Escape Artist If the escapee is not only getting out of the trap at the last second but can be two blocks away I can only think of some sort of teleport power. Make it take extra time to simulate the time it takes to get out of the trap and to sneak away.
  7. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... My players run a team of heros out of Viboro Bay called The Stormguard. They don't really work as a team that often and have no team leader and its caused some issues and they are noted for a certain sloppyness. They are currently dealing with an attempt by the Dragon to escape envolving the the Elemental Gems of man and not doing well in their own estimation. Frustrated with this situation Providence an Angel that has joined the team at the Lords direction made the following empassioned statement. "Some thing hasn't been done around here and its something that needs to be done. God is not happy about it." The drunken warrior timewarped from the Turakian age (yeah its a weird group) quickly quiped about a split second after Providences statement. "The keg needs refilled." (noding sagely) Everyone laughed and that sort of derailed Providences attempt to force them to name a leader.
  8. Re: Bad Powers There are certain sonic frequencies that cause people to lose control of their bowels. Now if he could emit those frequencies that could be annoying. Its kind of junky but who wants to fight with soiled tights? Give it invisible power effects so he can do it from the crowd. Have him emit all manner of annoying frequencies. Break glass, make dogs howl, disrupt radios, Cell phone service, ect. Since its invisible meybe they have to notice that this guys just always on the scene as an "innocent" bystander.
  9. Re: Help with a Master Villain's Plans: Windchill Perhaps he could infiltrate some agents into the media. He could then try to spin the news about the heros and Primas in a negative manner. SI it well known that one of their members is undead? If not expose that and start speculation that he has ties to Takofanes. The Heros will have to try and figure out why the media has such a disdain for them. Once they figure out its Viper how do they expose the agents? This one is a tougher nut to crack as the heros can't just solve the problem with their fist. Hiring Utility to aid him in humiliating the heros might be an angle to take too. Since they are all superhumans Utility would enjoy the work. This is a little more straight forward as the heros might be able to solve this with thier fist depending on Utilitys plan. Infiltrate the team with a new superhero. You could also have him plant some moles in Primas. These moles can give him information on the team and Primas which he can use to his advantage. You could drag this angle out for a while so when the hero betrays them it will be all the sweeter. On the flip side maybe he or she falls for one of the heros and has a difficult choice to make.
  10. Re: Sentinels Yes I found him just a bit ago but I thank you for your assistance in pointing him out. I have them all made up in hero designer ready for Sunday. Thank you all for your assistance I really appreciate it. I think I will leave Black Rose a Shadow controller in my campaign though, because I find it more interesting and it wouldn't aid the players much in the current story arch. They pretty much need all the aid they can get.

  12. Does anyone know the power sets of the Sentinels from Champions Universe. Im not looking for writeups. Im looking for basics like. Brick, speedster, mystic, energy projector, mentalist, martial artist. If they have a particular theme like Fire based energy projector that would be helpful.
