  1. I want to see some stats and write ups for characters and and artifacts from the various myths and legends. I would also like to see some 'crunch' - rules and mechanics for truly mythic characters. The Hero core rules can create some very powerful and super heroic characters, but I would like to see information on how to create characters with mythic characteristic and powers (epic destinies, immortality, blessed by the gods, etc.).
  2. I'm going to GM - the character is an NPC that can either be an ally or enemy of the PCs depending on their choices. That said all the characters will be built with 175 character points and are considered 'heroic' instead of super heroic. I'm assuming that a lot of combats will take place at night given the nature of the setting, so the character should be able to use the shadow jump power fairly often when there are shadows from the illumination of street lights, etc.
  3. I'm trying to build a rather dark, avenger/ vigilante character for a low powered, gritty superhero setting (think of the recent incarnations of Batman). The character has nightvision and a mystical ability called 'Shadow Jump' which allows him the ability to teleport between shadows or other dark areas within his line of sight. Nightvision is pretty easy to build, but I'm trying to figure out the best way to represent his Shadow Jump power. The teleportation power mentions having a 'focus' area as one of the limitations on the teleport power, but I'm not sure if it would really apply to shadows since his power would vary depending on the illumination of the environment.
  4. I actual like the name Dark Champions - at least when referring to the vigilante crimefighter setting in the book. For modern action/espionage settings Action Hero would work fine.
  5. I am wondering if there are any plans to release a 6e version of Dark Champions or Pulp Hero. 6e has been out for several years, but there are so many 5e books that are begging to be updated. Yes, the 6e books are pretty complete in terms of rules and I can improvise quite a bit, but I would like to see an updated version of the Dark Champions and Pulp Hero books.
