I don't disagree with you, in terms of building up locations in the world. But DoJ did make an effort to support TA, with supplementary books tying directly into that setting, such as Monsters Minions And Marauders (bestiary), Fantasy Hero Grimoire I & II (spells), Nobles Knights And Necromancers (NPCs), Fantasy Hero Battlegrounds (adventures), Book Of Dragons (dragons and other really big monsters), and Enchanted Items (um, that).
 
Ultimately it was sales that determined the fate of the Turakian Age. Generally speaking, Hero fantasy material just didn't sell as well as Champions. At one point Steve actually put Aarn, City Of Adventure on the publication schedule, and expressed eagerness to write it; but it ended up being pulled due to the performance of the whole line.

The Turakian Age is wonderful, stands with the best fantasy world books ever written for our hobby! 
Finding a group of players for HERO System has been the challenge in enjoying it fully.

That's a rarity: a small group of Hero System players all found around the same table.

Against all hope, I've *finally* found an in-person game, had our character creation session this past Tuesday!  I'll pick that over online when/if I can get it.

I’m comfortable with any day so whatever works best for everyone is fine. My plan is to use 6th edition although if everyone wanted to use 5th I wouldn’t have a problem with that.

Congratulations! But please take care of any health issues first and foremost. I want you around and writing for a long time. (The tragic loss of Balabanto has left me feeling rather protective of Hero writers.)

Progress! It's taken me months longer than it should have due to my ongoing health problems, but I've finally finished the Incan and South American Mythology chapter of MYTHIC HERO. Woot!
 
Now to move on to the last major world mythology left to me (though by no means the last one I have to research and write about): Celtic! First task: update my bibliography. That should take me the rest of the day, at least.
