  1. The Russian mob is reputed to own strings of souvenir T-shirt shops in places like Miami & New Orleans to wash their money.

Nice pull on the SNL reference. Wasn’t that Dan Ackroyd as the pitchman and Bill Murray as the husband? That’s double points. ****EDIT**** Nope, sorry, the judges just checked the game tapes on YouTube and it was Chevy Chase as the Pitchman and Ackroyd as the husband. But you keep your original score. Resume Play!👨‍⚖️
  4. Somebody once said of Robert Bloch (the writer of Psycho) “He has the heart of a small boy.....he keeps it a jar in his desk.”
  5. Talk to the claw. Meet Rusty, the first dog/rainbow unicorn hybrid.
  6. I loved the Teen Titans back in the day, but as far as gaming goes.... In issue #1 half the team were very experienced former sidekicks. Robin, Wonder Girl, Changeling (Beast Boy) and Kid Flash would be starting level for the game plus a sliding scale of EP’s to represent the skills and powers they had already accumulated. Only Raven, Starfire and Cyborg would be starting characters with no bonus points. That’s tough to explain to a bunch of players all starting a brand new campaign. If Robin only ended up with a tenth of the EP’s that Batman got. That would put him in a pretty extreme bracket. What may be a more fair set-up would be like issue #1 of X-Men. All the PC’s start off on the same level with one NPC with extra points leading the team from the sidelines.
  7. Maybe they all went out to see the Super Flower Blood Moon.
  8. I’m just finishing re-watching the first season of Veronica Mars. Very, very good stuff. Kind of teen noir.
  9. You just have to do it once in front of the others to show ‘em who’s boss.
  10. An easier route to the all teen powered city would be to state that the city had no paranormals to speak of until an origin producing event (Toxic spill, meteor impact, dimensional rift, whatever) took place at a location where a large number of teens were in attendance. (like a concert or something) and the effects were only manifesting powers to those whose biology hadn’t achieved maturity. Teens got powers, adults got cancer. If you want to push the whole YOLO, “live fast, die young” thing you could say that once the infected paranormal’s biology achieved maturity the cancer would begin to take hold.
  11. No, I was referring to how long ago this all took place. Oops.
  12. I saw some still images from the Sandman series HBO is currently filming and I thought that they’d better drop in some Tori Amos Easter eggs when they introduce Delirium. Ms. Amos was a dear friend of Neil Gaiman and he said often that she was the physical model for the character and would have been his choice to play the character if the proposed movie had ever gotten made back in the ‘80’s. (Gary Oldham or Johnny Depp would have been Dream and Winona Ryder would have played Death.) P.S. Her version of “I don’t like Mondays” still gives me chills, and with all the recent mass shootings I hear it in my head all too often.
  13. I was going to say that Mutant was also left off the list but G.I. Robot is a DC character and they don’t have many of those there. A few maybe, but not enough for a major group.
  14. Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding....We have a winner! You Milord get the above named prizes and a months supply of Rice-A-Roni, the San Francisco treat. (At least that’s the name “she” gives the cops.)
  15. Twenty-five points and the little blue wedge for anyone who can tell us who those green claws belong to. Hint: This was the cover from The New Teen Titans issue #1.
  16. The Emperor has you thrown to the lions.
  17. “A Kind of Magic” is as much of a soundtrack as there is. Other evil people have tried to fancy up the packaging for collectors to blow their cash on but all the music the band wrote for the film reverted back to them after the record company failed to put out a album for a movie that didn’t do well at the box office. After a few years the rights went back to Freddie & the boys and “A Kind of Magic”was born.
  18. (In the voice of Kurgan from Highlander) “I know what game.” You have to be familiar with the Queen song “Gimmie the Prize” from the soundtrack. Some comments I’ll be making to just amuse myself.
  19. Why bother buying a coffin? If you need it, you won’t care if you don’t have one.
  20. Maybe if it’s only gone on one side you’ll look like the Gerber teen.......Or Two-Face.
  21. I want BADLY to blame you for this, but even after I read the title I sat through two commercials for it to begin and then listened to it all transfixed like a man watching an 18 wheeler filled with toxic waste crash out of control into a day-care center on “Bring your puppy to school day.” Regardless of who’s ultimately to blame I will have my revenge upon you. Like Dr. Doom blaming Reed Richards my vengeance requires no internal logic to come to its fruition. Someday you will waken from your slumber to find the left half of your mustache GONE!! You yourself will then torture yourself with the moral decision of whether to leave things as they are for the months required to regrow the missing section or to take razor in hand and shave the other half yourself. Sleep well.......Sleep lightly. Yours in Christ, Tjack.

“THERE’S A SNAKE IN THE PLANE JOCK!!!!” I give you Raider’s of the Lost Ark.
  23. Although there are many on this board that I would consider Bad Mutha’s (I’m just talkin’ ‘ bout Shaft) in their own right. I would like to wish any of the actual Mothers here whether they are genetically connected to their children or not a most happy day.
  24. If this is real and not a photoshop manipulation it does make a weird kind of sense. Lennon was living in Los Angeles separated from Yoko during the time period of the first few seasons of Happy Days (evidenced from the windbreaker Henry Winkler is wearing) and taking his son to visit the set of a popular show would be something he might do.
