  1. A lot of my characters have just had great backstories, but not tragic ones. Spark developed his skill from a attempting to burn a broken sword that ended up fixing itself in the fire. This sword then developed magical properties. Not a tragic event, more good than bad. Hostile developed his super-sniper intuition from a secret government mental training program. He already had the skill with guns. Mosaic developed his "drawing-to-life" ability from a magic paintbrush given to him by Leonardo Da Vinci with the promise to do great things. His idea was to bring the world peace. John Psy the Social Guy (Obvious where the inspiration came from) developed his "powers" the more and more he learned about people, and he then developed the ability to essentially read minds from his insane speaking ability. Convin developed his persuasion skills from his time as a political advocate. He would have been the Prime Minister if he didn't go and persuade an invading alien force to stop. This put him in the alien defense program. Not tragic per se, but certainly not good either. This is not to say that I have only made non-tragic characters, but it does say that I do make characters that do not have tragic backstories all the time.
  2. Tardis! NT: The biggest reason people watch sports in November.
  3. I once asked DT what his favourite colour was. He told me that his colour changes. So, I put him in a zoo with the chameleons.
  4. I'll say that...uh... that Foghorn Leghorn is I'll say a rickety good choice
  5. And DT sold me the small green thing named Kaeto.
  6. She is wearing a support shirt for Dr. Ben Carson.
  7. My team usually has some sort of vehicle that carries the party, or a Large Movement Power with UBN on one of the PCs. It just always seems to to happen.
  8. Kaeto is consistently trying to force an outcome. Last year, he forced his promotion in his job by killing the person in job he wanted. This was definitely illegal, but he was not arrested for the activity because he had killed someone who was involved in illegal activity as well. Welcome to the Mafia, Kaeto!
  9. I am starting to agree. I hate taking the overwhelming amount of tests. Just saying. My life is becoming filled with, "You should study for this test in 4 days", "No, study for my test in 6 days." It seems like the teachers are vying for my attention. Seriously. I have resorted to just not studying. Do you know what happened? My grades improved! I now am a straight-A student and am about to take the SAT for the National Merit Scholarship Program. I am surprised. The less and less I take tests, becoming more and more able to focus on the actual material, I am starting to enjoy the class more. AP U.S. History is easy because I am history buff. AP English Literature is a bit tough, but I am still making a 95! AP Statistics is the easiest AP class i have ever taken. AP Physics is relatively easy because I am really good at math and conceptual science. The reason these classes are so easy is because they don't have many tests. I think that each student should be in school for 36 weeks and take one test every 6 weeks per class. That will result in a total of 48 tests in one year for me. I had taken at least 75 tests last year. This year, I have taken 15. I have been in school for 10 weeks this year. Just saying. There is NO reason for a student to have to take over 100 tests in a year (at this rate, I will take exactly 48 tests, imagine that!) Traditional schools have given kids and teens too many tests. If I could change anything at this point, I would, but I cannot, so I leave it to fate.
  10. Could we use the correct term that IT was meant for, Information Technology?
  11. Dolofio would have a large table in the middle of his room, containing a lot of strange liquids. He also has a lot of storage around the room, mostly for his experimentation. Finally, he has a large coffin underneath the table, mostly to finally wait on his experiment of human zombification.
  12. Roter Baron happens to have stumbled upon an ancient device that enhances his 5 primary senses. Unfortunately for him, that also means that, the last time he used it, he gets a stronger hangover. Oktoberfest never has been so rude!
  13. That is true. I guess that is indeed where the difficulty lies. Perhaps that can be up to the GM's discretion because this is a rather tough effect to achieve.
  14. Something I thought of Ultimate Split: Blast 1d6, Attack Versus Alternate Defense (Power Defense; +1), Does BODY (+1), Autofire (12 shots; +1 1/2), Non-Standard Attack Power (+1) (27 Active Points); Limited Power Power loses about a third of its effectiveness (For All Targets within a 20m Radius around the user (Not including the user) the power must be evenly split between the targets. If two exist, 6 to each. If 4 exist, 3 to each, etc; -1/2) 18 Real Points
  15. And Aylwin used his incredible screaming skills in order to collapse the very building he was standing next to, killing 43 people inside. He was never found by police.
  16. Say that Johnny "Time" Good has a shield that gives him 7 rPD and Johnny is hit with a spear from an ancient Spartan that has an Armour Piercing effect. My question is, in this case, would I use 3 rPD or 4 rPD to compare to the damage dealt?
  17. Is this a series of references to the famous Youtuber "Ihascupquake"?
  18. Würde eine logische Antwort auf diese Frage mit "Ja" sein?
  19. Are you assuming that I am able to hear? Do I not just read posts on this forum?
  20. DT has an obsession with everything Swiss. Don't worry about it.
