Re: Battletech Mecha First Loves, Favourites, and just plain silly. OK I’m not a big Battletech fan or player even though it was the actually my first experience with a RPG gaming group. We were playing and they gave me this big 100 ton Mech. Atlas I think was the name of it. It had long range weapons and a 2 movement I remember that. So anyway we started the game and were placed on the edge of the game map and I ended up being the last to move. I stood still fired a weapon and got a head shot on a medium size mech being played by my hubby. It was great he failed his roll and was out of the game. The dice was good to me that night I got real good rolls. Since then that has always been my favorite.

Re: Practical Costuming (not quite a WWYCD) Taylor is a desolve character and would wear jeans and a sweat or t-shirt. She would use her motorcycle helmet to hide her identity. Savage well he wears whatever is semi clean mostly. He don’t care if someone id’s him or if his socks match either. Ms Mystic would wear her business like suit. She is a mentalist so she can use her powers at range.

Re: So, what do YOU want out of hero? With the Hero system you can create any setting or character you can think of. But it is also much more. It is about fighting that dragon, flying a spaceship to the far end of the galaxy or just throwing down with some major villain threatening your city. Hero lets us experience in a way of being that warrior or pilot or super. Hero lets us create other worlds and become part of them. It does this using one set of rules or guidelines and we can move our characters from one setting to another.

Re: WWYCD - The Night of the Dead Taylor would be visited by her parents and brother that was killed in an anti mutant attack on her home. She still feels guilt over that and blames herself for the attack they was targeting her. She would ask for their forgiveness and tell them about her life now. Raven would be visited by his wife and maybe best friend. Raven also feels that he is responsible for their deaths or that he lived and they didn’t. It is un telling who would visit Savage and he would have a blast with whoever it was most likely take them out drinking or what not.

Re: WWYCD: Daughter Of The Shadow Lord... Ms Mystic would make sure the girls are safe and if Amy wanted to return to the school she would take her there when she returned the other girl. She would then try to talk to the Shadow Lord in letting her handle things and take the occultists into custody. If that didn’t work and she would actually let the Shadow Lord handle situation and try to make sure it ends up looking like he owes her a favor. Ms Mystic will use anyone to help her protect the Earth. Savage would ask if he needed any help beating up the occultists.

Re: Wwyd ???? I would agree to the terms then I would use the powers granted me to find cures, heal the planet and make an ever lasting peace. Even if I had only five years my love ones and the rest of the world would see the benefits.

Re: Fun Character concepts I played in a Hero game once where another player had created a character called Handsome Stranger. He was a flying brick who had absorption that went to his Comeliness the more he got hit the prettier he got. For some reason this really made the GM mad after a few games and he the GM approved the power before play. Handsome Stranger also had a PRE attack that worked against anyone attracted to males. He would strike a pose and smile. The player loved that power he would do that every time he would knock out a bad guy.

Re: Your PC's DNPC? I have one character that received 2 DNPC’s during game play she had gotten married and had twins. Emerald Dragon only acts as backup now and is semi retired.

Re: Your scenario style Our group just ended a year long game arc a few months ago. We had a lot of side scenarios going on at the same time that would last one or two game session but they was all tied into the main game plot. We also did a lot of emails in between sessions to take of little details.

Re: CBikle Stop writing me First I want to say this I do think this is a very good board and very helpful. I would like to thank you for you suggestion on my INT Sword post am planning on using it. That said its just I think the whole situation has been handle wrong. I do agree with you the girl in question should have just ignored the PM’s. I have myself (as I am sure a lot of others have) been misjudge for something that happened in the past and was on the receiving end of some not so nice comments. It is life lessons and we should learn from them and move on.

Re: CBikle Stop writing me I have been reluctant to post about this since I am kind of new to the boards also. I understand some of you have been mislead in the past but don’t you think it’s time to get over it. Really are some of you going to judge every new person who posts here by something that someone did in the past. Maybe it’s time to be grown up about this and let the matter rest.

Re: WWYCD: Lost in a world without Supers; 9/11/2001 Ms Mystic would teleport to the White House and have a little meeting with the president and his head of security. She would convince that they need to ground the planes after everyone board of course she would also convince them to have in place members of her team on each plane to help neutralize any threat. She would also use her abilities to locate any other threats and inform the authorities. Now if this was the East Coast Defenders they would handle things a little different after making sure that the planes was grounded either by convincing the authorities or making sure the planes can’t take off (60 STR can do a lot of damage to a runway). They would then go to the root of the problem and take it out.

Re: Campaign Styles My group has done this also and it works well as long as you can get them to read their emails. I give the ones who reply at least 1 EXP point or something.
